The rooms were exceptionally well taken care of before arrival. The hosts checked in with us even though there were no issues. It was a bit isolated, but that was the whole point. Grocery stores were only 10 minutes away. We got to see Cascade waterfall, looked at views from Skyline Drive and went antiquing all in half-a-day (we had a tight schedule). Lovely stay.

Wonderful place to stay

This is our third time staying and we will for sure stay again. In fact we are planning a week stay next year. The place is amazing and the owners were very nice and generous and met all our needs. It is easy to find and many sites to visit is a short drive. Very clean and cozy place to stay and it really makes you feel at home.

Lovely and clean!

My family was able to celebrate Thanksgiving there this year! The house was super clean! The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were comfortable. Everything was labeled and easy to find. We would gladly stay again!

Fantastic place to stay

Rented the home for 4 day long weekend of riding our motorcycles in the mountains of NC, VA, WVa and TN. The hosts, Jimmy and Jenine, were very welcoming from the time we showed up til the time we left. The home is in a beautiful location of West Jefferson. We highly recommend this rental and hosts. We know we will be back.

This house was so beautiful inside and out. The owners stayed in contact and made sure we had everything we needed. The kids loved all the wildlife and the outside cats. We will definitely be contacting them again for our next visit

Comfy and Cozy Mountain Stay

This wonderful property is a perfect place to stay along the Blue Ridge Mountains. It is decorated perfectly for a cozy mountain retreat. The amenities are many, like a Keurig machine, that is also a drip coffee maker. The couch is cozy and inviting, the beds and pillows are comfy and the towels are plentiful. Everything about this house was so warm and inviting. Communication with the owner was wonderful. She was very responsive and was easy to communicate with. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We came for a quick birthday weekend for my daughter. The house was beautiful and cozy and the area was spectacular! We could see where Helene had impacted the area which was sad, but it was still beautiful.

Everything you need!

The guest house was spotless! There were so many extras not advertised- we were more than pleased. Our hosts were super friendly, suggested awesome places to see, and made sure we had everything we needed. The drive to the house is breathtaking. A Thanksgiving we will never forget!

We really enjoyed our stay even though it was a short stay. There were plenty of room and you really felt like home away from home. The beds were very comfortable and plenty of room. Well organized. We met the owners and they were very friendly and made you feel very welcomed to stay at their place. I would definitely go back and have been telling family and friends to look them up if they are heading to a mountain get away. We are looking forward to a longer trip here again.

Birthday Bash Weekend Getaway

My daughter wanted to stay in the mountains with her best friend for her 13th birthday. The three of us arrived late Friday night. There was a short distance where pavement ends that made us all very nervous. However, there are multiple ways to get to the rental. It is more like an apartment. Very efficient. Small kitchen, eat in area, small living room and half bath downstairs and 2 bedrooms with full bath upstairs. Heat/air was a little confusing but it was comfortable for our stay. We spent more time out and about than we did actually at the rental, but that was the point. West Jefferson is about a 15 minute drive. Not something that we wanted to do on a regular or after dark since I/we are not used to mountain travel. The owners are sweet and very helpful. They told us where we could go trick or treating and information on churches for Sunday. They also left a nice gift for my daughter for her birthday. We loved our visit and will plan on returning.

5th year anniversary get away

We had a wonderful time this second go around. We really enjoyed our stay and it was very relaxing and cozy place. Everything you need is available for cooking. Very quiet and Very close to town with many things to do. We definitely would rent again.
