Excellent stay in historical atmosphere

Business trip but a marvellous hotel, quiet, beautifully situated in natıre in a former monastery. Excellent breakfast and dinmer buffet. Recommended to get local experience.

Unikt läge och god kvalitet

Överlag bra hotell med unik känsla i och med att det är ett gammalt ombyggt kloster uppe på ett berg mitt i Siegburg. Bra frukost och personal som är väldigt serviceinriktad när du väl prata med dem, men vi upplevde att de "gömde" sig lite grann innan man tog initiativet själv. Det finns goda möjligheter till parkering på hotellet samt laddning för elbilar även om de själva verkar ha glömt bort det. Dock är det VÄLDIGT trångt att manövrera i garaget och för att ta sig ut, så har du ett långt eller stort fordon rekommenderas annan parkering.

A lot of wasted potential

It's an amazing place , and a lot of the buildings are beautiful. However the rooms are small but with an amazing view. They have an amazing large terras with a extraordinary view, however you can't get drinks or food there. The restaurant is one level lower, with almost no view and a buffet that felt like I was in school again. Which is weird in a hotel where the cheapest room was 120 euro. The small bar Anno 17 is way beter for food and drinks however they only do snacks. In short. This could be an amazing 5 star hotel, but it isn't

schöne Lage oberhalb von Siegburg

freundlicher Empfang, Lage ist natürlich super (oberhalb der Stadt) und man ist schnell in der Stadtmitte, auch schöne Möglichkeit zur Erholung im Park, sher großes Zimmer, geräumiges Bad, wirklich sehr ruhig, gutes Frühstück auch wenn es momentan etwas kleiner ausfällt aber gute Qualität und frische Brötchen. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt

Nach langer zeit wieder Mal in der Gegend zu tun gehabt und im KSI zwei Zimmer gebucht. Die Zimmer sind geschmackvoll und modern. WLAN funktioniert bestens und mit dem Schreibtisch im Zimmer, kann man seine Arbeit am Computer sehr gut erledigen. Es gibt für mich hier nichts zu beanstanden. Der weite Blick auf die Umgebung ist sagenhaft. Das KSI Team hat es sogar hinbekommen, ein tolles Frühstück in diesen Corona Zeiten sehr gut organisiert anzubieten. Anders als viele andere Unterkünfte, die kein Konzept erstellen und das Frühstück einfach streichen.

It's very clean. Definetely. Just some details that I did not like at all. In the gym area there are very good restrooms, but no hand soap... dispensers completely empty. And the outside retaurant is ridiculous. The rest is fine, clean, very clean, and the restaurant is fantastic.

The hotel located on the top of a hill. So if you have heavy laggage carrying on foot, you must have hard time to reach. However, you can enjoy the histric building which fully renovated and good view..

Un ancien monastère

Situé dans le parc au centre de Siegburg un ancien monastère transformé en hotel. C'est tout simplement superbe! Les chambres individuelles sont un peu petites (c'était les chambres des moines). L'accès au parking est très petit et pas recommandé aux SUV et il coûte 8€ la nuit. Bon petit-déjeuner.
