"We were welcomed by our host and had a wonderful week. It was lovely to come "home" each evening to this peaceful part of the Dordogne."

"Plazac besticht durch die absolut ruhige und ungestörte Lage! Die Hauptstraße des Dorfes ist nur wenig befahren. Es gibt einen kleinen Supermarkt ("Bio"), die Bäckerei ist fast gegenüber. Der Vermieter ist ein sehr interessanter Mann, der sich hervorragend mit den prähistorischen Fundstätten der Region auskennt und gute Tipps geben kann. "Jerome and Christelle welcomed us to their beautiful place, a short walk from a vibrant and pretty village, St Léon. The apartment was impeccably clean and very well stocked with all things you need. The pool was also perfect. Jerome and Christelle gave us lots of information about the local area, things to do, restaurant recommendations etc. We had a very happy family holiday and hope to come back to visit again!"

"We had a wonderful autumn holiday in this villa. Mahil received us very kindly and the house was fully equipped. (Towels, bed linen,, hairdryer, dishwasher tablets etc). The kitchen was very well equipped, the beds comfortable and a good shower in the bathroom. There was plenty of things to keep you entertain in the garden too. "We only had breakfast on one morning but it was absolutely excellent. Local, tasty produce and top quality coffee. The Internet didn’t work well one evening but otherwise it was fine. The staff are amazingly nice and very helpful. We loved the spa, too. It's a little haven of bliss. The location is perfect and the town of Brive is so clean and beautiful. I highly recommend it. "

"This was a good option for a base when visiting the region. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable, if a little strangely designed. A lack of sensible plug sockets (we had to boil the kettle on the floor!) and the water from the shower went everywhere because there is no shower tray - yet is not a wet room! We found parking stressful, we arrived late at night and found no spaces free thanks to inconsiderate parking from guests, the hotel would do well to mark acual spaces. We did squeeze our tiny car alongside the bins for overnight, and then after heading out early could not get a space at any other time during our stay. The night porter did help us at one point by explaining that the street parking would be ok overnight as long as we moved again by 8am. Given that we were on a three week road trip we had a very full car and this wasn't ideal. We would have liked to try the restaurant but couldn't as they seemed to stop serving earlier than advertised. We were told it was 'fully booked' at around 8pm despite lots of empty tables, we think they just didn't like that we hadn't pre booked. All in all this hotel was good enough and comfortable for a short stay and maybe better if you are less busy and have less luggage, but for us it just has a few fracture points that in all probability would not encourage us to stay again. The town is charming and we found good options for both breakfast and later dinners, just don't go out too late as the options dwindle."
