I stayed at Seapoint Boutique Hotel in Grand Baie for a week in January with friends to celebrate a milestone birthday, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. From the moment we arrived until our final minutes at the hotel, the staff were incredibly attentive, warm, and accommodating. While I didn’t note the names of all the wonderful waiters and housekeeping staff who consistently went above and beyond, special thanks go to Ayeushi and Michael, the hotel manager, for their genuine welcome and care throughout our stay. The hotel is exactly as advertised — stylish, spotless, and very comfortable. The food was consistently of a high standard and a real highlight of the experience. A couple of practical notes for future guests: if you plan to spend a lot of time outside the hotel, it’s worth factoring in the cost and availability of taxis. Also, if sharing a Deluxe Room with someone other than an intimate partner, be aware that the layout offers very limited privacy. Overall, I would happily recommend the Seapoint Boutique Hotel - it's a wonderful place to stay and I would happily return.

A really great boutique hotel to relax in. The grounds of the hotel are immaculately maintained and the rooms are luxurious and spacious. The staff are so friendly and polite and make your stay easy. You need a car or taxis if you want to venture out. But the hotel is perfect to completely switch off from the outside world. The restaurant setting overlooks the beach and is lovely. Dinners are a little formal but tasty. Thank you so much to all the Sea diamond staff especially Diana, Enzo and the restaurant team, as well as the charming GM. We loved meeting you all and making our stay so special!

Good hotel, decent food options from half board package

The rooms are nice and spacious. The landscaping and beach access are great. Good spa area and wellness spaces. However overall the shared spaces such as pools and restaurants are tired and in need of an upgrade. The staff were nice but there seemed to be a lot of miscommunication between staff members and service could be slow. Food and cocktails were average.
