The building and the room were good. Rosa, the safety night guard, was great and very knowledgeable. We had some issues with the bathroom sink and the safe, but they were never addressed. The top restaurant was great! Breakfast was delicious. The server and the chef went beyond their duty, finding us specific items for our food. Also, the chef prepared the best vegan hamburger we have tried.

This place staff is the worse. They literally made fun of you for complaining about unexpected, several crazy rules (2 towels for a whole week and if you wanted to replace them it will cost you $15 dollars to replace them, for example). Front desk is only available from 7 am to 6 pm. Afterwards you’re on your own. The third day after 6 pm the power went out several times and no one was available to assist me or provide any information about what was causing it. Because all the issues I decided to check out four days in advance. I finally was able to get in touch with the manager to explain but even then I didn’t get any credit.

We enjoyed our 1 month stay here overall. The staff were very helpful and friendly (despite the language barrier). There were a few times we had some issues, I sent a message on WhatsApp and they sent someone to help in a timely manner. The cafe on the ground floor had great pastries and coffee :) We couldn't try the restaurant on the roof as we were told there were no vegetarian dishes. The Apartment was overall clean (no dust, however there were marks on the walls). When we checked in, we got a WhatsApp message with the inventory, which included everything we needed. The building is situated near supermarkets so we had no problems getting groceries and other supplies. Uber's were easy to order to get a ride to wherever we needed. In the beginning (before we travelled) we messaged on Expedia and never got a response, this is one area I think they can improve on. We ended up sending a WhatsApp message based on a number we got from the website of the property. There are 2 Washers and Dryers in the laundry room that guests can use. You can either download an app and load the app with $$ or pay exact $$ into the Machine. The internet was a little spotty on my phone most of the time. However it was working well on my laptop and on the smart tv. Which was a little strange. Overall it was a good stay at a reasonable price for an entire month.

The Hood 102: Un Diseño Moderno, Pero Sin Descanso

Durante nuestra estancia en The Hood 102 en Bogotá, nuestras expectativas fueron frustradas por el ruido del rooftop, afectando gravemente nuestro descanso familiar. La habitación, aunque limpia y cómoda, no compensó las noches perturbadoras por la música y el arrastre de muebles. La primera noche, tras señalar las molestias, el ruido empeoró. Al expresar nuestro descontento la mañana siguiente, la recepcionista nos prometió una noche más tranquila. Sin embargo, fue aún peor, ya que se sumó un concierto al ruido existente. The Hood 102 parece priorizar el ambiente social sobre el bienestar de los huéspedes. A pesar de su diseño y ubicación atractivos, no es ideal para quienes valoran la tranquilidad. Podría ser adecuado para quienes buscan vida nocturna, pero no lo recomiendo para familias o viajeros que desean descansar tras un día de turismo o trabajo en Bogotá.
