Close to beach

Hotel is ok, cleaning could be better. Nice room, but thin walls! The staff is nice. Very good location, 2 min walk to beach, shopping and bar street is also near, but not so near you hear the music.

God beliggenhed og udemærket værelse

Værelset var fint med et velfungerende badeværelse og lille terrasse lige ude til poolen. Det var et super ophold og søde ansatte. Eneste minus var den høje musik om aftenen som kunne høres tydeligt på værelset, men det var nu ikke så slemt. Hotellet ligger i gå afstand til stranden og til alle gaderne med barer, butikker og restauranter. Kan klart anbefales.

Nice but not more

The staff at reception is very nice and helpful. The young lady during the day speaks an excellent English, the night porter speaks quite well. The rooms are ok for this price. The guy who was responsible for my room was lazy. Every morning he made the bed and mopped the floor. After one week I asked him also to clean the bathroom and to change the towels... Yes, once he even cleaned the wash-basin... The pool area is very nice - because the hotel was not busy you could get a sun bed every day after eleven. The breakfast is a small buffet with horrible coffee and tea. Enjoy the English breakfast possibilities next door (Parrot's Cafe!!). For diner try Rest. Amphora (just opposite) - family owned, very nice people, great food. Or Denny's at Gumbet Beach - there you can sit just at water front... Nice atmosphere! The worst thing at all: All night there was very loud music from Mulberry's - the restaurant in front of the hotel. They have got a loudspeaker on the roof of the restaurant for the pool area - funny during the day, but awful in the nights (till 1/2am). After three nights I asked them to switch off this loudspeaker - sometimes they did so. It was like sleeping on a disco stage.

easy access to beach, buses , shops and restaurant

good welcome. Helpful staff. Loved the pool and position of the rooms around it. Excellent restaurant across the road too! reasonable breakfast. Clean. Short walk to beach. Would definitely recommend this hotel for the price.
