Drive through winding country lanes, arrive at The Watermill and be utterly captured by its original charm and timeless beauty. Built in the early 1800s, retaining many of its original features, including the characterful waterwheel, it'll feel as though you have stepped into your very own fairytale. Enter the cottage and step into the kitchen area, boasting exposed beams, stout stone walls and deep inset windows. The kitchen is superbly equipped with everything you'll need during your stay, including a double electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge with ice box, dishwasher, washer/dryer and a Nespresso coffee machine. You'll find oil, salt, pepper and some herbs for your use. The dining table is perfect for family brunches, pop the radio on and enjoy a leisurely morning. There's also underfloor heating for those out of season escapes. At the end of the corridor on the ground floor, you'll find bedroom one, boasting calming views across the luscious garden, complete with a super king bed, which can be made up as twin singles on request. Also situated on the ground floor is the family bathroom, complete with WC, wash basin, walk-in shower, bath, underfloor heating and heated towel rail.
Heading up to the first floor, discover the oh-so cosy sitting room. With an original stone fireplace which has been brought back to life with a characterful wood burning stove, casting an atmospheric glow during the winter months. In summer, open up the French doors, revealing the spacious decking area and let sunshine illuminate the space. Or if you are kept inside by the weather, you have the Smart TV and an abundance of games, books and DVDs to while away the days. The country-style master bedroom is tucked beneath the eaves on the first floor and benefits from a super king size bed, promising a restful night's sleep.
