Wonderfully spacious, the cottage comfortably accommodates up to eight guests in warm, characterful surroundings that celebrate its heritage while offering every modern ease.
The living room is a cosy haven, arranged with super-comfy twin sofas and inviting chairs, with television and woodburning stove glowing cheerfully on blustery evenings, casting flickering light and welcome warmth. Across the hall, a separate dining room provides a generous setting for long, laughter-filled suppers and celebratory feasts. The well-equipped kitchen has everything needed for effortless catering, with a breakfast seating area perfect for planning the day ahead. A downstairs cloakroom and handy utility room add everyday convenience.
Upstairs, four thoughtfully arranged bedrooms promise restful nights. The first features a king-size bed and charming views across the garden, leading through to a second bedroom furnished with a versatile trundle bed, ideal for either a single guest or twin guests. An en-suite bathroom with a bath invites leisurely soaks after days spent exploring. The third bedroom offers twin beds and its own en-suite shower room with a sleek shower cubicle. Bedroom four boasts a king-size bed and tranquil styling, while a separate family bathroom with a bath and shower over completes the floor.
Outside, the garden reveals a generous lawn perfect for al fresco dining, sunset drinks or a friendly game of croquet, with a set provided for guests’ enjoyment. Within a short drive you’ll find the golden sands of Trebarwith Strand and the fishing village of Port Isaac, famed for Doc Martin and Fisherman’s Friends. Mystical Tintagel and picture postcard Boscastle are close by, while Padstow’s narrow streets revealing boutique shops and celebrity chef inspired restaurants await. From here take a passenger ferry to pretty Rock or hire a bicycle and take the flat former railway, now the famous Camel Trail. At Wenford bridge you can cycle all the way to Padstow 18 Miles, or through leafy glades and the ever changing countryside to the ancient town of Bodmin.
