"This is an older but very well kept family owned hotel. It doesn’t have any real amenities to speak of. But it was extremely clean and the staff is very accommodating. This small town has plenty of restaurants and bars. A public pool and other things to do. I highly recommend it."

"Lanjaron is a little tired compared to other towns and villages we visited on our trip. Hotel was clean and tidy, new sealant around the bath required, suite brown (probably lovely in its day) but clean. Bed not great, we could feel the springs popping, not comfy and felt old. Decor plain and old fashioned. The outside was well maintained and a good size pool but we didn’t use. We paid for breakfast which was ok. Value for money, compared to other hotels on our trip, not great. "

"The property is very basic, but clean. It is in a noisy location where there is a lot of noise from the street late at night. In the room you can hear every time someone else in the hotel flushes the toilet or walks around throughout the night, endless noise and we didn’t sleep very much. Having said all that, it was only £37 a night! What do you expect for that price. Overall it served a purpose for 1 night, but we would not return."

"Simple hotel on the edge of Orgiva. Recommend top floor rooms with a large terrace and a balcony to enjoy the view over the surrounding mountains. Room was large, spotlessly clean and with a great bathroom. Would have appreciated a hairdryer, modern pillows and better soap and towels but all in all it was great value"

"La casa es estupenda, preciosa y está completamente equipada. Está a mitad de camino entre la playa y Granada. Además está en el monte lo que ayuda a qué las temperaturas sean menores que en Granada. Está a 2km del pueblo lo que hace que tengas completa intimidad. Hemos pasado unos días estupendos. Recomiendo hacer la ruta de la cascada de los bolos, muy cerca de la casa y muy bonita. Para mí, es un 10. La recomiendo completamente."

"Excellent place to stay, lovely pool and garden. Host was really helpful and responsive. We were 10 adults 30 no couples and there was plenty of space for us all. Individual flats are beautiful and fairly well equipped, maybe could do with some ice cube trays and a grater but apart from that all fab. Beds are comfy, including pillows and towels. Stays cool enough with shutters closed in the day and opening up at night to let the air in. The view from the front is so beautiful, the restaurant up the road is great and the people in the area are super friendly and kind.Need to have a car as it’s far from a lot of things but within a 5-10 min drive there’s a pharmacy and shops and whatnot. You can walk to the villages nearby (15 mins) but it was a bit too hot for that when we went in July. The pool area keeps sun & shade all day long which is wonderful. The golden hour sunset out the front with the mountains is brilliant. "
