Fantastic place to stay when you want to be outside of Bocas Town. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The pristine beach is only steps away. Menu at the restaurant is varied and delicious. Service was excellent. Highly recommended, and I hope to return.

Amazing, could not ask for more
Oasis is truly something else, and I must admit I was hesitant at first as I have never really stayed in BnB's as I am one for the comfort of hotels. However, that said, Wendy, Simon, and the Oasis staff were incredibly welcoming the moment I stepped foot out the taxi. Being a solo traveller, I wasn't really sure what I was getting myself into in Bocas del Toro, but Oasis felt like home away from home and they could not do enough for you. The View (Oasis restaurant) was superb and the menu changes daily. There are several restaurants along Playa Bluff and it is a short hop into town so you are not totally isolated. The staff are more than happy to provide recommendations for absolutely anything, including help spotting wildlife such as: Sloths, Toucans, Howler Monkey's etc. They are happy to arrange excursions across the archipelago or anything else you may want/need for. There's plenty of walks and the beach is superb to relax and just take in the surroundings. It is a slower pace of life and whilst not completely cut-off, I would say be patient with things such as the WiFi as it's not the same speeds as home. I felt safe and comfortable for the duration of my stay, after all you are surrounded by nature and it makes for some great walks and photo opportunities to keep you occupied. Panama is my 34th country visited and Oasis made it truly memorable and I will always be grateful to Wendy, Simon and the staff who helped make it that way.

This place was magical! The location, food and staff was amazing. We felt cared for and well-anticipated from the moment we stepped out of the taxi. The staff goes above and beyond to be accommodating and to anticipate needs. The food and cocktails were also incredible - would highly recommend staying here. The bumpy drive to get there is well worth it!

This place is an absolute gem! Gorgeous location with a beautiful beach right out front. Clean room and setting is perfectly landscaped. We saw two sloths right out front ! The service is impeccable and the food might be the best on the island. Their breakfast is delicious! The owners Wendy and Simon are easy going and make the experience more delightful. We highly recommend staying at oasis bluff!

Our host, Simon, was very accommodating in many ways: first, by providing an upgraded room at no additional charge, then by providing champagne upon arrival to celebrate our anniversary where he and his wife, Wendy, operate an excellent B&B operation with an associated, on-site restaurant called The View. The staff are highly trained and are exemplary—from the service team, to the cooks, to housekeeping and the maintenance crew. The accommodation is extremely well built and has tremendous views (and sounds) of the waves crashing on to the adjacent Oasis Bluff Beach. Many surfers appeared there each morning, and often, in the afternoons. The eco-friendly initiatives are also evident—from rain collection and use, to solar capture and recycling efforts. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are well appointed. Tile work in the bathrooms, ample water pressure in the shower and plush towels all make for a comfortable stay. Finally, the animal sightings and their company (both wild and domestic) were a treat. The resident sloth was particularly well received and lived up to his/her namesake. This is a place definitely worth checking out when on Isla Colon, Bocas del Toro, Panama.

We give a Oasis Bluff a 20 out of 10! The facilities and food were amazing! The location was perfect for us because we didn’t want to be in town. We rented an atv for transport for a few days and loved it! The best part about the stay though was the staff… starting with our hosts Wendy and Simon! Their kindness, attention to detail, knowledge of the area, and local relationships with the community all combined to make our stay fabulous and memorable! We will be back!

Absolutely magical!
Our stay at Oasis B&B was absolutely breathtaking- the property is beautiful and well maintained. It is an eco friendly property that is extremely conscientious of its effect on the island and planet. Wendy and Simon are excellent hosts who treat you like a family member throughout the course of your stay. There are so many activities available such as jungle walks, water sports, or simply lounging on the beach. We hopped from island to island and thoroughly enjoyed our time on Bluff Beach!

English hospitality from owners! Place is like paradise on private beach with jungles you can walk kilometers no people real island experience. Stars at night looked beautiful with no village lights nearby. In morning jungle is near to spot wilderness.

THE place to stay in Bocas!
Simon and Wendy are amazing hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. I would highly recommend this property to anyone, you will not be disappointed. They have a restaurant and bar on the premises, pricing and food was great, we hardly wanted to leave. Anything we wanted to do Wendy made arrangements for us. Simon contacted us the morning of our arrival to make sure we had a taxi to the property because the bus had broken down. We were well taken care of. Thanks for the great stay, you made everything so easy for us!

Wonderful place in heaven !
The place is located on the best beach on Bocas Island with many surfers everyday trying the great waves. It’s very clean, confortable and relax, you feel like you’re home but also in paradise with Wendy and Simons the owners taking care of you with details. The drinks and food are simply unbelievable and that’s why we always had dinner every night there and they come up with a different great menu every day. Overall this place was outstanding, we stayed 4 nights and wish we would have stayed longer, you never get tired of living in a dream location!

WARNING ! Extraordinary Violent Waves.. Please be aware, the waves at this location are literally deadly.. , if you are expecting a relaxing archetypal beach experience i.e. swimming in the ocean, laying out on the sand, find a different beach.. we found out that the "other side" of the island is "for swimming".. this side is interesting as a natural phenomena, the roughest waves ever, walking on the beach is ok, pictures are ok, but swimming is extremely dangerous.. my girlfriend nearly died, lost consciousness, and nearly every local had a similar story and experience... to make maters worse there was little warning, Oasis unlike a neighboring property Hummingbird had no sign, either to warn of the extreme danger or advise what to do if caught in the currents. The Oasis is clean, however the design of the rooms offers Zero Privacy, nothing is sealed, the rooms are completely open to the deck, only shades can be shut to allow some degree of visual privacy, but as far as sound you may as well be living in the same room as other guests.. We had an unfortunate incident on the last night of our stay... upon being informed my elderly dog was not eating and feeling well I admitidally became upset and talking with my mother used a louder then normal conversational tone, Simon and Wendy, the stereotypical arrogant English owners, rudely threatened to kick us out, call the police and then shut off the internet and all possibility of communication for all guests. egomaniacal deviance

Let me first start by saying this 1* rating comes as no surprise! And as anyone can see from our other reviews on Trip Advisor etc this was a guest that was aggressive and screaming foul language at the top of his voice at 1am and woke up all other guests. No matter what type of accommodation Jesse would have woken everyone around him regardless. Our aim is to provide a tranquil experience for our guests and having this behavior, and language; shouting the F and C words down the phone every other word is not acceptable in any setting. As we asked Jesse to keep the noise levels down but he continued to proceed to use the F word to me and threatened to give us a 1* rating if I didn't just go away. The onslaught of aggression to us and other guests continued. In fact Jesses girlfriend came out of the room as she told my wife, that she too could not stand you shouting and screaming at his mother. But he continued to shout at his mother to get on an airplane to go see his dog. He refused to be quiet and it is true that I stated that I would have to ask him to leave our premises if he continued to be aggressive towards us and disruptive to our other guests. He continued to be aggressive and I threated to call the police (but didn't). We also asked that he take your call to the garden or beach, but he refused. So, I did turn off the internet for a while to calm the situation and that seemed to work, as he calmed down and went to bed. Other guests appreciated me defusing the situation in this way. Other guests were also worried about your behavior and even said to us I hope he doesn’t destroy your room. As readers can clearly see from the last sentences in the review, Jesse decided to not only attack us but also our origins/race with racist slander. All this in addition trying to blackmail us by saying for us not to eject you from the hotel, otherwise

This was a wonderful relaxing experience on Bocas del Toro. Simon and Wendy are very accommodating and caring hosts, they made our stay very pleasant. The bed was very comfortable, the food was amazing, the views were spectacular. I highly recommend relaxing at The Oasis while visiting Bocas.

Absolute heaven
Do yourself a favor and spend some time at Oasis. Wendy and Simon work tirelessly to make sure your experience is the best it can be. From a delicious home cooked meal or recommendations for out and about they will make sure you have the best experience Bocas has to offer. The lodgings leave nothing to be desired, top shelf all the way and right on a beautiful beach. This place is the definition of relaxation and I couldn't be happier with the time I spent there. No matter how long you stay you will wish it was longer. Oasis is now permanently on my list of places to go as frequently as I can.

Most relaxing part of our Costa Rica/Panama trip!
I NEVER leave reviews for anything, but I feel Simon/Wendy( Oasis owners) deserve being called out for their excellent service and accommodation. We spent 3 nights and these were the most relaxing days in our 14 days vacation touring Costa Rica and Panama. The location is great, unspoiled paradise all around. The rooms, kitchen, hangout areas are all clean and inviting to truly "relax and kickback." What makes this place stand out above all others are its people. Simon and Wendy are attentive, helpful, and amazing people who will certainly inspire anyone with an adventurous heart. Our experience there will forever be cherished and would go back in a heart beat!

Wonderful B&B on Bluff Beach in Bocas del Toro
B&B hosts Simon and Wendy were terrific, as was their lodge. It had a wonderful elevated view of Bluff Beach with its pounding surf--which unfortunately was too rough to get in over our knees.Our room and bathroom were large, modern and clean. They offered a 3-course dinner one night that we enjoyed. Breakfasts were very good, too. A 5-minute walk down the beach led to another lodge with delicious wood-fired, beach-side pizza and an excellent dinner menu. There's also a cafe nearby with lighter fare, but we did not eat there. The only downside to staying here (other than not being able to get in the water, at least while we were there) was the atrocious road into Bocas Town--a rough 20+ minute cab or bus ride. Nevertheless, we do recommend this B&B, which earlier this week was featured on an episode of International House Hunters on HGTV.

Best accommodation in Bocas Town, Bluff Beach
This is simply the best hotel in Bocas. The hotel is located in Bluff Beach, a couple of miles outside of Bocas. The property is absolutely beautiful and my room was perfect. The owners of the B&B, Simon and Wendy are the best one could ever hope for. They run a fantastic property with keen attention to detail and designed to make your stay a memorable one. I highly recommend Oasis, you wake up and go to sleep with the sound of the ocean, located few steps from your room. While Oasis is located in a secluded beach, the accommodation are top of the line, very luxurious and elegant. I highly recommend this property.

Nous avons passé une semaine dans la chambre "suite", située au rez-de-chaussée. Nous avons été très bien accompagnés par les propriétaires et les employés durant tout notre séjour. Wendy nous a présenté toute une liste d'activités possibles et a géré pour nous les taxis et les réservations. Nous avons dîné tous les soirs au restaurant dont la carte change tous les jours. Les repas y sont excellents. La plage devant l'hôtel est magnifique, sur 5 km, il n'y a quasiment personne. Malheureusement les vagues y sont très fortes et il est déconseillé de s'y baigner. En revanche nous avons trouvé une plage magnifique et calme au nord de Bluff Beach, un peu avant d'arriver à la Piscina. La plage est magnifique et on peut s'y baigner très facilement, il faut prendre le Rock Trail Beach pour y parvenir, la promenade est d'ailleurs magnifique.

Die Lage am Meer ist perfekt. Unser Zimmer war klein (und sauber), aber vollkommen ausreichend, weil wir eh unterwegs waren bzw. uns in dem wunderschönen Garten aufgehalten haben. Das Essen im Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen! Und zuletzt: das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wendy & Simon: thanks for being part of our vacation! It was a pleasure to stay in your hotel!

Todo espectacular...áreas comunes, ubicación, limpieza, comida, amabilidad, puntualidad...excelente lugar, altamente recomendado para parejas y para descansar. Ubicado en la que estará lo la mejor playa de bocas...Bluff.
