Paradise

A gem of a place in stunningly beautiful natural surroundings. Staff and owner are wonderful: super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We loved every minute and stayed for longer than we planned (which the owner and staff were kind enough to accommodate). We will definitely be coming back!

It's a little paradise, beautiful garden, great swimming pool, very well designed buildings and all self-sustainable. Augusto, Anita, Aragon! :-) and the other members of the staff made us feel very welcome. Special thanks to Rico, who showed us where we could spot the sloth; we would not have been able to find it without him. We saw cappuccino and howler monkeys, aguoties, hummingbirds, from very close. We're sorry that we didn't have time to visit Ron's farm with limetrees and horses. But we tasted the lime pie in the restautant nextdoor, made with his limes, very delicious!

It's hard to share how wonderful this place really is to experience. Single guy traveling in wet season. This place is amazing. The people who run the place care, love the area and place and everything was more than I could imagine. It's not a hotel high rise, big city, AC hotel, a million TV channels, don't seek that here. Wifi is perfect though as needed. It's the most amazing experience waking up and living with the sounds of waves, birds, rain showers and amazing food. Don't miss the breakfast. Every place offers breakfast but in over a decade even with family I've never had a better more home cooked breakfast every morning. Those sweet ladies made my mornings and I am grateful for the care and kindness the island, resort and people brand to my trip. Highly recommended. Also want to share a family of 5 was also there in wet season with me and totally delightful with kids. A great place for all!

The Best!

This was one of the best vacation spots I've experienced. There are so many nice features, e.g. eco-friendly resort design, bicycles, beach equipment, wildlife, comfortable lodging, location near beautiful beaches, dining nearby, awesome lap pool, and very friendly and attentive on-site hosts. It was very much a paradise and I hope to return someday.

Muy bonita la casa , el lugar , la playa Maravillosa , no apta para bañarse Eso no aparecía en la reserva . La ducha horrible , mal echa muy abierta se salía toda el agua , quedando el Baño saturado de agua y húmedo.. El desayuno malo al estilo americano Tipo Niño , cosas con mucha grasa Y no saludable . El personal de mal carácter ., debieran ser más amables y serviciales con el Turista

Great family location in remote area of Bocas

There are many wonderful things to say about this 'off the beaten path' spot in Isla Colon. First, it really is down a sandy, unpaved lane that hugs the edge of the "bluff" beach and is a very bumpy ride, but was navigated well by either of the two dedicated taxi drivers that work directly with the owners and will make sure that you are picked up and/or delivered ontime wherever you are going. After that little taxi adventure, you will arrive to welcoming hosts that help you get settled in quickly. We stayed with our 10 yr old son in a 2-bedroom cabin that was extremely clean and comfortable. The kitchen had ready access to purified water (charcoal and UV purified from reclaimed rainwater), as well as full appliances, pans, plates, etc. You'll find a lovely long lap pool with lots of kids' pool toys, bikes to take and roam about, a yoga and exercise room, and a terrific masseuse "on call" who does wonderful lymphatic work. In terms of food, they have no restaurant for lunch/dinner, so you'll need to take a short walk to a nearby hotel that does have one (the hosts will call for you and notify them you'll be coming), but they do provide not just one, but TWO breakfasts! There's an early breakfast that starts at 7am with coffee/tea and cereal (including homemade granola), and then at 8:30am there's a full breakfast with things like eggs, freshly made bread, etc. Just delicious. This was definitely a great experience and value all around.

We spend 5 nights at this hotel, and we wish we could have stayed at least a month. The hotel and surroundings are beautiful, the breaksfast is delicious and Steve, Karen and Ron are so helpful and friendly. The beach is just across the road, you live in the jungle and there are amazing restaurants within 5 minutes walk. We couldn’t ask for a more perfect destination for our vacation - we’ll be back soon.
