Beautiful location on the beach with old town restaurants nearby too. Roof top bar, lovely sunsets with cocktails. Room clean, bed comfy, good air con. Staff excellent, helpful, Wagner particularly had good English and organised everything we wanted. The place, the beach and the island are amazing too.

Unfortunately there are construction works on the terrase and breakfast and restaurant is only downstairs. Breakfast is very good. I rented also a car for 1 day for a reasonable price

Very helpful and friendly staff! Nice views from the rooftop terrace. Close to beach. Comfortable rooms. Great to have a jacuzzi on the rooftop, but the jets need to be repaired.

It was ok as a hotel to spend only nighttime. Bathroom was moldy, no ventilation. Loud restaurant right cross the driveway played music until midnight. AC didnt work from the start, but owner moved us into a larger room, also on other side of hotel so away from music, which was good. Very short walk to beach but no amenities provided (loungers), its not a resort. Staff was polite. Breakfast included homemade cakes, very tasty!

Modern hotel in good location

The hotel is a nice location, on the beach and on the edge of town. Lots of nice restaurants close-by. The hotel has a pretty rooftop bar. The room was spacious with nice views on the balcony. Breakfast was a buffet of sweet pastries, continental bits and cooked eggs. Walk down the beach for a variety of beach clubs and water-sports.

A lovely quaint hotel, it supplies the basics you need, cleaned every day throughout the hotel, the staff are very helpful and friendly, my advise for lunch, is the nearby restaurants close at 2:30pm and open again at 6:00pm so we got stuck for food on our first day and we ended up going to a little supermarket only able to get cake as there was no bread!! Later found out the few restaurants down on the beach ( 10mins walk) close at 4pm.

We have stayed at Ouril for two Weeks in January and we have loved it! Wagner and his Staff are very nice, helpful and uncomplicated people (thank you all so much for everything!) The atmosphere is very familiar. The rooms are nice. Our room (402) on the 4th Floor with seaview and two small balconies was amazing. There is only an open wardrobe, but enough place for suitcases. Quite big bathroom with nice shower. The breakfast buffet is not very big, but offers everything you need.The hotel is very close to Estoril beach. Once a week is live music at the rooftop terrace-bar. Rooftop terrace is very nice, with whirlpool, sun loungers and little Gym, In walking distance you will find good restaurants (fresh fish) with reasonable prices. We highly recommend this Hotel.

Terrible experience

Arrived late at 12:30 am because the ferry was 2 1/2 hrs late. The guy at the reception greated us without a shirt and didn’t say one word, not even hello. He just handed us a key and didn’t even check my reservation. We had to go outside to get water and came back to find there was no hot water. We took cold showers. In the morning we went to breakfast and nobody greeted us or provided cups or silverware, we had to ask for them. We decided not to stay another night and at checkout they then charged me an additional $25. They said my reservation was only for one person but I reserved a double room. Beware of this hotel!!

Zimmer sehr groß und geräumig. Betten waren angenehm. Balkon mit Meerblick. Frühstück war ebenfalls sehr gut, für den Standard. Klimaanlage konnte man einstellen. Sanitäreinrichtung etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Magnifique chambre, bien équipée avec notamment la climatisation et un frigo, donnant une vue directe sur la plage de la baie de Sal Rei avec un balcon pour profiter au mieux du paysage. Personnel toujours disponible et à l’écoute rendant le séjour très agréable. Le rooftop est incroyable, avec une vue dégagée sur la plage, un bar qui sert des cocktails et tapas ainsi qu’un jacuzzi pour contempler la vue en se relaxant. Seul inconvénient dû à la période creuse, la salle de fitness était en rénovation, je n’ai donc pas pu y accéder. Pour finir restaurant de bonne qualité et pas cher et avec un super buffet pour le petit déjeuner.

Beliggenhed i Sal Rei er god. Vores familie værelse havde en fin størrelse. Tagterrassen er et kæmpe plus for hotellet. Et kæmpe minus var dog, at der på intet tidspunkt i løbet af vores 7 dages ophold var varmt vand til brusebad. Et koldt bad kan gå an i ny og næ, men en hel uge uden varmt vand er simpelthen ikke okay.

Si l’hôtel est bien situé les chambres du RdC sont très bruyantes, ascenseur, allers venues des résidents et du personnel. Il manquait des serviettes dans la chambre le tuyau du pommeau de douche est dénudé, pas de poignées intérieures pour fermer, 1 lampe de chevet sur 2 fonctionne, le canapé-lit est cassé, sinon le personnel est d’une gentillesse sans pareil.

Le petit déjeuner est vraiment mauvais, de mauvais produits mal cuisinés, ce qui est quand même une exception de mon expérience au Cap Vert. La « salle de sport », littéralement 3 machines complètement à l’abandon, rouillées et donc inutilisables, à l’image de la terrasse qui n’a rien à voir avec les photos (transats plein de moisissures, palissades sales…). Lors de mon séjour je n’ai pas rencontré une seule personne du personnel parlant un mot d’anglais, ce qui ne les empêche pas d’être très sympathique… mis à part le vigile de nuit qui dort affalé sur la canapé de la réception pendant son service et lance des regards très noirs accompagnés de silences pesants quand on ose le réveiller pour rentrer. Bref, je ne recommande pas.
