This is the second time I have stayed at this property. Love the beautiful quaint little town. It is a must see place. So relaxing. A great place for a few days getaway.

Formerly an old inn frequented by travelers in stage coaches circa 1848. The building has been updated, with a new addition to add extra rooms. Food was bistro quality, which surprised us, and breakfast was good too.

We have stayed here before and enjoyed our stay again. The Inn is quaint, the staff excellent and the location is in the centre of things in Bayfield. Our room was on the second floor, and the hike up the narrow stairs with our bags was challenging. Our room was neat, clean and quiet. We thought the availability of Netflix was great, but the buffering made it impossible to enjoy an evening movie.

My wife and I have come here for 30 years. Pretty property, pretty town. Great sunsets!!! Miss the palour which has been replced by a bar.

The jets for our bath tub did not work. It was hard to get ahold of front desk staff when needed. The room itself was nice, cozy and very clean. The dining staff were amazing- accommodated us having a takeout meal and were very attentive.

Beautiful heritage building, filled with old wooden floors, brick walls and antiques. Well preserved. Updated guest rooms with new bathrooms. Rooms on the smaller side, but great for 2 people in a King room. Happy hour was fun, great bar service and allowed us to play card games. Delicious breakfast at a reasonable rate. All good!

Quaint little Inn on Main St. Most shops and restaurants close early or last seating is 8:30pm. We made a reservation at the Inn and food was good,staff very nice and friendly. There are stairs to the rooms so call ahead if you need first floor. Happy hour on the Street and Inn was 3 to 5pm. Not much to do when we finished our dinner,went for a walk on Main St. and there was literally no one around. Went Oct11. Nice spot to relax. Parking is on street but we got a spot right in front of Inn…24/7 free parking! We had a king standard room on second floor. Basic but would have liked hangers to hang up clothes as there was no closet,no real space to put toiletries in bathroom so had to improvise. Glad we tried this Inn.

The location was good. To give the hotel 4 stars was inaccurate and misleading and to charge 309 plus tax for one night was criminal. The room was terrible. The hotel did not supply soap for the bathroom. The whirlpool tub did not have a working plug and was so noisy it was not worth using. The desk clerk was not friendly and bordered on rude. There was no specific parking and if u sat on balcony u were locked out.

We would have loved to address your issues with you, instead of you writing a review to state your displeasure. As we could have fixed a few of your issues during your stay with us. We have checked the whirlpool bath and it is in working order. The balcony door that was closest to your room does lock behind you. However the main balcony door was open for guest use. Parking is public parking as stated on our guest agreement and as for the soap in the room this may have been overlooked in error, but could have been easily remedied. As for the front desk, we are unsure what transpired but feel the front desk is usual top notch at customer service.

Thank you for your review, the room you were in offers two lamps beside the bed, tall lamp and a ceiling light. We are unsure why lighting was an issue.Air conditioning is central air and set at 21 for the entire building.

Good inn, thin walls
This hotel is perfectly fine, clean, charming decor. It's expensive for the amenities, and the walls are thin-- if you're travelling for romance, as the room next door was, the experience will be shared. We didn't eat at the restauraunt.
