"We loved this hotel. It was easy to access, cheap parking across the street and a short walk to the main areas of town. We had a private porch with a view up the mountain. We slept well and enjoyed our time there. Notes for other travelers: the parking machine is $4 per day but only takes coins; most places in town only take cash; breakfast is only offered on weekends; coffee is for sale by machine but it only takes coins. "This hotel is well situated in the center of the medieval town. Our windows looked out on the Altehaus (1392). They have very limited onsite parking (try to reserve ahead) but the public garage on the river is only a short walk. The included breakfast buffet is adequate if not sumptuous but the room was very modern and comfortable and the staff, friendly and helpful. Overall a great choice, reasonably priced for a night in Bacharach"
