Great hotel, super service

Fantastic hotel, Big rooms, Clean, fantastic service. Great people serving the great breakfast. Easy and free parking. Quiet. Near Rhinen, Wine Fields and hiking. Nearby little ferry, where you can take your car and get across Rhinen river in 5 minutes. Our big recommendations.

A big surprise! Booked it when crossing river Rhine on the ferry and had no big expectations. This hotel “over” delivered with the professional check in, quality of the rooms and an excellent breakfast and this all done of course with the excellent and service minded staff

Like the other reviewers I agree, this is a nice newer hotel that is quiet. Breakfast was good. Here are the things you should know. This is not a river front hotel as advertised on orbitz. The Rhine is approximately 1 km from the hotel and you can not see it from the hotel. The winery/restaurant is several km from the hotel. Listing make you think the hotel, winery and restaurant are all together on the riverfront. Not the case. My wife and I like to watch a movie on Netflix after a day of sightseeing so I take a fire stick with us on vacation and steam videos using WiFi. WiFi was unusable in our room. Only 0-1 bars and it kept dropping out. My wife couldn’t do her daily Facebook post so she wasn’t very happy. Ask front desk man but he said he didn’t know anything. Don’t think about using your cellphone as a hotspot. The hotel is in a valley and you only get LTE signal which will not stream movies.

If you want a true German small town experience this is the place to stay. Staff was excellent. A car is a must. We traveled to Cologne and Eltz Castle. Would definitely recommend

A lovely hotel

We had a wonderful 2-day stay. The room was modern, spacious and clean, service all round was friendly and helpful, and breakfast was very good! Housekeeping was very alert - they quickly replaced our water which we found was an empty bottle when we checked in. Thank you. There was ample parking, and we enjoyed walking the Whisper Trail, which was only a stone’s throw away from the hotel.

Perfektes Ambiente mit tollem Service

Preis Leistung Verhältnis perfekt. Leckeres, reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet oder schönen lichtdurchfluteten Raum - jeden Tag gab es wertvolle Tipps - moderne sehr saubere Zimmer. Nur mit der Ladesäulen (externer Anbieter) kam ich nicht zurecht.

Mein Lieblingshotel rund um Lorch

Sehr freundlich und immer hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter. Moderne und saubere Zimmer mit top Klimaanlage. Möglichkeiten um E-Autos aufzuladen. Sehr leckeres und frisches Frühstück. Wenn die Anreise mal später wird, ein kurzer Anruf und der Schlüssel wird im Safe hinterlegt.

OK, aber inkonsistente Massnahmen

Alles in Ordnung. Diie Maskenpflicht ist eher sinnlos wenn der abstand zwischen den Tischen im Frühstückraum so gering ist. Es gibt auch keine plastik Handschuhe am Buffet. Die Corona massnahmen sind inkonsistent.

Great stay in the Rheingau

We enjoyed the stay with 6 other friends, new hotel probably not more than 3 years old, great location for hiking trips through the „Rheingau“ area, try the „whisper trail“ or a boat trip on the river Rhine. Many good wineries are just a short hike away. Overall 5 stars.
