Rest and relaxation
The cabin is very secluded, and nestled on the mountain amidst the trees. It is clean, comfortable, peaceful, well organized and spacious. The smart tv and WiFi are a nice luxury. The owners thoughtfully provide everything you need to stay awhile. Just be sure to buy your groceries before heading to the cabin. The steep gravel roads that lead to the cabin are challenging. Best to arrive before dark. Be sure to heed the advice in the directions! We were grateful it never rained during our visit. It may be rare, but we were privileged to have a visit by a momma bear and her four cubs. They wandered up one morning and explored the fire pit area and of course momma bear checked the trash but it was locked. What a great surprise and delight! We stood safely on the porch and watched them. They did not appear to notice us., We truly enjoyed our stay and it was just what we needed to rest and recuperate.

Tucked Away in the Trees with Nature...Loved It!
Loved the cabin, and location. Its tucked away in the woods on a hill side, secluded and loved the nature...even saw a mama bear and her cubs on the lower deck. Well stocked kitchen, and pet friendly is a bonus. Only disappointment was the cleanliness, and upkeep by property management company. Being in the vacation rental business in Florida, cleanliness is always a factor in creating a good guest experience. When we arrived, the smell of mildew/musty, only to try to be masked by plug in air fresheners. Wood floors dirty, guest bedroom had dried pet urine on the corner of bed and floor, A/C filter was caked with dirt, stove cook top greasy, as well as, microwave touch pad and door, hair in the shower, spotted mirror, cobwebs, thick amount dust on moldings, baseboards, wall decor and window seals. Cabin definitely needs a deep clean. Back yard overgrown and needed mowing, lots of ticks. However, despite the lack of cleanliness, we would stay in the cabin again, based on its location and how tucked away into nature it was. We would just hope management steps up and makes sure the cleaners are cleaning properly.

Perfect Getaway
We have stayed at many rentals over the years. While we have had mostly good experiences, Pinecone Cabin was just perfect. It was very clean. The furnishings and decorations were so nice and welcoming. We like to cook a lot and the kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were clean and very comfortable. It smelled absolutely amazing the whole time we were there. Outside, the fire pit was a great place to sit in the peace and tranquility of the mountain. The hot tub was the perfect place to unwind from the day. The trek up the mountain was adventurous but after a couple of times up and down, my husband was a pro. We stayed here for our 20th wedding anniversary and Amanda went out of her way to make it special. We plan to come back for our 40th (if not before!). Thank you, Amanda for all you've put into this space. We truly had not one complaint and enjoyed every minute!

Cute and SUPER CLEAN property! Well stocked kitchen and supplies, towels etc. Fire pit and got tub was wonderful. There are only 2 seats on the front porch and a 2 person swing on the bottom, so if you have more people I siggest bringing camp chairs. Fire pit has 4. Beds super comfortable. Please do take into account the description of the roads to the cabin. It is gravel/dirt with some areas that are steep and rough. My Toyota van made it, but AWD or 4WD would be much better. I would not recommend a car at all, something with at least some clearance. It is at the end and so quiet and peaceful. The owners really have thought of everything. Thank you for our visit. We sure did enjoy our relaxing stay at Pinecone Cabin!

The property was exactly as advertised. It was beautiful, clean, and quiet. Aside from groceries, everything we needed was supplied by our host. In fact, there was no need for us to leave the property until checkout. Our host was very informative and accommodating. We highly recommend this peaceful home away from home.

Beautiful cabin with many pleasing amenities. We enjoyed the very clean hot tub, the porch swing and the firepit. The porch is very inviting and begs you to sit for a cuppa. Host was very responsive and easy to reach. 10/10

Wonderful stay from start to finish. Cabin is cozy and clean with all the comforts of home. Amanda and Todd were excellent hosts and were quick to respond. We checked out The Roof in Ellijay, Roo Mountain Vineyards and Mona Lisa Dessert House. All a must see.

Cute comfy cabin
We loved staying here. The beds were comfortable and it was perfect size. The wood burning fireplace was a plus! It rained so we were able to utilize that instead of fire pit. We would stay here again. It rained and the mountain road was slippery. We had a front wheel drive suv and followed the owners instructions and did just fine..no trouble at all getting there.

Just what we needed!
Amanda and Todd were very accommodating and gracious hosts. Our cabin was very cozy and had a very picturesque view. We needed the seclusion and peacefulness to reset from our every day lives and we got it! It was close enough to the downtown area where we can jaunt” down the mountain to eat and shop if we choose to or stay in and light a fire and read a book. I would definitely stay again!

Well appointed, remote, Pinecone Cabin
Four wheel drive a must, however the road is well maintained. The quaint cabin has everything you need in linen and things. The kitchen is suited well for meal prep and presentation. Our littles are grown, however it is a great place and well appointed for both young and old alike. The rocking chairs on the covered porch are sturdy and comfortable for morning coffee. The fire pit and chairs are a great place to sit and gaze or even cook a steak. My wife and I highly recommend Pinecone Cabin. It is a great getaway for a remote experience.

We stayed July 23 it was back in the woods. The roads you have to go slow if you don’t have a 4WD vehicle. We saw bears it was wonderful. It was a wonderful town to everyone was very friendly. The cabin was great too.
