We got moved to a different house due to a repair. I think it was called Hawks Hideaway. Anyways, it was a beautiful house with great views. We had a wonderful time.
First time in Blue Ridge and we absolutely loved our stay at Eagles View. It’s a cozy, well stocked cabin with a gorgeous view. Overall the cabin was clean but could definitely improve with dust, spider webs on tall windows, and new shower curtains. The beds were comfortable. Also the instructions to find the cabin were a little confusing. Great location to outdoor activities and close to downtown. We will be back!

Cabin on Eagle Rock Mt Road
In general the cabin was well appointed with everything almost everything you need. We were told we would be given a starter of several items, toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, soap, etc, it was all there.
We were surprised. By a very dirty stove and oven and mold on the shower curtain, which we reported. We also
discovered a broken towel bar and several lamps with missing light bulbs.
The cabin is within 2 miles of Blue Ridge, however the road going to the cabin is steep with hairpin turns and no lighting at night, making navigating difficult. However the views from the cabin are lovely. There is a lot of nearby construction so days are at times noisy. Also, during our stay a man showed up unannounced with a leaf blower to clean the deck and porch. It is obvious that the decks needed more cleaning than simple removal of leaves.
The master bedroom has a very uncomfortable bed and you are only given two very thin pillows. there were an adequate amount of towels.
All in all our stay was good but i would check to make sure that the cabin has been deep cleaned before booking a stay.
Very nice cabin that met all of our needs. Pups loved it, great view, great location for us. Spacious cabin that we will look to stay in again when we come back.
Wonderful cabin. Close the restaurants/shops of Blue Ridge, hiking, and sightseeing in the area. Cabin was beautiful and well maintained. Clean and great view/neighborhood.
We had an amazing time at Eagles View. Just a short 5 minute ride into Blue Ridge, the location couldn’t have been better! We were able to bring our pup, too, who loved the views and spending time on the patio. Would absolutely book again!
Our family (including our pet) really loved this place, it was a great location on top of a hill with a great view, the house had everything we needed. Very close to downtown Elijay. Definitely considering it for future trips.
This is the perfect place to come get away but still be close to downtown Blue Ridge. The view from the deck is breath taking. Inside this home is well appointed and very clean. Probably one of the cleanest we have rented. It was perfect. Will be planning another stay very soon.
The house is very pretty and clean the view is magnificent. The trails are fun to walk, especially with our 9 month old golden retriever. The town of Blue Ridge is fun to walk through. Shopping is good - restaurants could be better. All in all, a great trip and we’d recommend the cabin.
don't be fooled by the road up that drops back down you are still on top of the world. Great scenery, very nice cabin, well lit, well stocked. Peaceful with the ability for the same mountain view from inside or outside. Much larger parking area than most of the other places.
Twice now, we've gone here for a getaway weekend with our son and dog. He was two years old the first time, and this time he was five. We will be back, becoming a tradition! :)
We loved the location of this cabin. The views were amazing. The cabin was well stocked and very comfortable with the exception of the master bedroom mattress. . I would recommend replacing the mattress. Also, I would suggest providing towels/robes for the hot tub.
We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was lovely and super clean. Had everything we could need. The master bed was too soft and squeaked a lot when you moved. Otherwise, I would highly recommend. The view from the upper deck was gorgeous.
We loved this cabin. It had everything we needed and was convenient to downtown. The only negative is the beds need to be replaced. There was no support and the frame of the king bed squeaked and cracked every time you moved. If they get replaced we will definitely stay again.
Great views, wonderful getaway for our family. The fireplace was a little hard to figure out without more specific directions. We had to call to get the pillow light relit, but they sent a very nice repair man to help get it going. The jacuzzi was nice at night, and the hikes in the Blue Ridge area were great. I would highly recommend this house for a family of 4.
The layout of the house worked great for our group. We were disappointed that the game room in the basement wasn’t heated and that it had a sewer smell. Made it unusable. Overall the rest of the house was nice.
Great place. Need to have more linens in the house. 4 small towels for 3 people for 3 days isn’t enough. Also, no pillow cases for additional pillows. Small stuff.. easy to fix.
