About this property

Cabin on White Water Toccoa River!

  • That's right, when you stay at Reeves Roost you'll also agree. Dense woods provide privacy and an intimate setting for your complete satisfaction!

    Quaintly located on the Toccoa River in the center of the Aska Recreation Area, with beautiful scenic views, you can enjoy everything the river has to offer: swimming, fishing, and our favorite, tubing from right in front of the cabin. Along the river and at the base of our cabin lies a green field decorated by colorful wild flowers a fire pit ,hammock, dinning table and swing. At night, fire flies and stars light up the sky. Sorry, pets are NOT allowed.

    Relax in one of the many swings, rocking chairs, or hammocks on the porch, which is nestled high amongst tall pine trees. Plenty of trails are located in the bordering Chattahoochee National Forest, including the Appalachian Trail. Other activities nearby include horseback riding,zip lining, multiple golf courses, whitewater rafting, trout fish hatchery, water falls, and antique shopping. Nearby towns are Blairsville, Blue Ridge, Dahlonega, Elijay, Helen, and Dillard.

Such a nice getaway! The cabin was nice, quiet and relaxing. It was really cold for a couple of days and there was even a crockpot that we made soup in and enjoyed just chilling out. The cabin was extremely well stocked. Loved feeding the birds every day!

We loved our visit. The cabin was nice and easily accessible and close to town & other activities. It was a peaceful spot! Cabin had everything we needed to enjoy a quiet Thanksgiving by the fire and also provided entertainment for the kids. Wifi, ping pong table and feeding/watching the birds on the back porch were at the top of their list.

The cabin was amazing! I loved waking up to the river and the beautiful view from the porch. There were a lot of spiders around, but the cabin was in a great, quiet location. It was equipped with everything that we needed such as towels, extra blankets, and all types of kitchen needs. We really enjoyed our time in the northern Georgia area!

We arrived after dark and the driveway had a sharp left to get onto it that was a little difficult to see. The cabin was excellent and had everything we needed including firewood. It was very peaceful with the sounds of the creek nearby. We would definitely stay again.

This cabin sets way back from main road. The canopy hides the cabin and you feel so connected with nature. The sound of the river is relaxing and inviting to go trout fishing. I wished I lived there!

Quaint cabin with Spectacular views

This cabin is furnished with everything you need! Activities from fishing on the Tacooa river, swinging on the porch or riverside to ping pong in the basement. We even saw deer in the fields in the evening right down the road. Suitable for one to two couples or family of 6. We highly recommend!

Short getaway trip

This property was even better than pictured! We stayed two nights and wish we could have stayed a week. Perfectly remote for me and my fiance. It was cozy and down by the water was beautiful. The cabin is straight out of a dream. Water pressure in the shower felt great after a long day hiking. Kitchen pretty much had everything we needed to cook. Can’t recommend this property enough, we will be back!

Charming Cabin

I stayed here with my husband and two young daughters for a few days during fall break. The cabin was charming. The girls loved the upstairs loft sleeping area, and eating breakfast out in the back porch was beautiful. They called it our cozy cabin. I agree with the other reviews that this is a cabin meant for quality family time and reconnecting with each other. Enjoy the sounds of nature, the beautiful river, and family!

Exactly what we were looking for

We wanted a quiet relaxing weekend away and that’s EXACTLY what we got! We had a wonderful time the cabin was perfect very clean and such a peaceful quiet relaxing location. The owners gave us ideas of places to eat and they were all great! We really hope to make this our new get away place. From fishing the river to sitting on the porch it was perfect. We even played Ping Ping and darts which we haven’t done in years! We had a great weekend!
