"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this lovely home in Sunshine Valley! We were a family group of four adult women, and this space was perfect! We would love to come back with younger family members, because it would be equally as great for young kiddos. One of our favourite features of this home is the well-equipped and spacious modern kitchen with a ginormous kitchen island. We appreciated the many options for sleeping spaces, the great quality bedding, and the cleanliness. The overall energy of the home is very open and welcoming. The layout is simple, but the vaulted ceilings make the main living space feel especially expansive. The back yard and back porch offer a perfect extension to the interior living spaces as well. Even though there was nearby construction happening, the interior of the home was very quiet and peaceful. This location offers great access to the small town of Hope, as well as the highway leading to Greater Vancouver. Perfect for a retreat - with or without some occasional days of exploring in the city. We really appreciate that our hosts, Leslie and Gabriel were very welcoming, provided clear instructions, and were always easy to reach throughout our week-long stay. We highly recommend a stay in this home, and hope to return ourselves before long!"

"The views were impressive and the firepit had enough wood for us for one night. The place was very nice but the cooking wear had some crusts on it. There were parts of the house that weren't fully completed yet but the house owner has already communicated this with us. Over all it was a very nice and cozy stay."

"The log cabin was very clean, and exquisitely decorated, with a mix of modern amenities and hand-tooled woodworking. The area was off the main highway and had a great view of the mountains. During our stay the weather wasn’t the best so unfortunately we didn’t get to make use of the deck but during the summer months I imagine it would be phenomenal for bbqing and grilling. There were a few cabins being built in the area across the road and next door but thankfully no loud working or construction this time, so the area was very quiet and peaceful for our digital detox trip. The cabin has a modern smart TV but we didn’t use it and opted for relaxation and a short hop over to Hope for some supplies and a walk when the sun came out a little.We didn’t see any bears though we wished we had, while in the area, giving us an excuse to come back! Fantastic space, location, and retreat that we’d be honoured to rent again in the future. Amazing stay, very pleased, and highly recommended for a couples getaway or a family trip. The hosts provide all information required with friendly reminders to help out, and are quick responses should you have any questions or concerns. Or first time using Vrbo to rent but will be sure to do so again. A! 3"

"This is such a beautiful property! The beds were super comfy and all of the instructions were clear. The home could definitely use a deep clean as there were lots of cobwebs etc. "

"Communication with Don was excellent! We didn’t have power for the first couple of days of our stay and Don stayed in contact as best he could given cell service was very limited without power. The place is lovely and spacious, with a woodfire place we were very happy to have and a BBQ that helped without the power. A great place to be located if you want to go skiing at Manning Park or get adventurous with skiing touring on the Coquihalla. "

"We had a large group of family staying here, and it was so handy having so many different spaces that smaller groups could peel off into. Those who wanted to stay up later were downstairs, and the earlier-to-bed were upstairs, and this worked great for us. Kitchen was fully stocked, and we enjoyed the different games set up for us in the garage and basement. This was perfect for our weekend reunion, and our hosts were wonderfully responsive anytime we had questions. "
