Great location that is walkable to downtown Blowing Rock. The condo was clean with updated decor. Host was very responsive to questions. We weren’t in town to ski so I can’t make any comments about that.

Excellent location, and cute apartment. Comfortable for the four of us. Walkable to the downtown with shops, restaurants, etc. Appears freshly painted with nice touches. Gas fireplaces warms and sets a nice glow. The kitchen was stocked with everything (and I mean everything!) you could need. The VRBO description and photos were accurate. Ample parking. Note that the apartment is up 2 flights of exterior stairs (might be a problem for travelers with mobility issues or too much luggage). It seemed inapproriate that the host left an envelope for "tips", since we already paid a 99 cleaning fee when booking a 2 night stay.
