Cozy bungalow home with LOTS of space. Modern decor throughout, fenced in yard, 1/2 mile from uptown. Location is a guest favorite for waking to uptown to dine and shop. Bath towels, linens, pillows and mattresses are all new, chosen with 'comfort' in mind

Location, atmosphere, decor, comfort and Seasons room are guest favorites!

Location -
Walking distance to uptown for dining, shopping, events. Walking distance to The Constitution Trail, 45 mile of hard surface throughout the Normal-Bloomington area. Great for walks, biking, rollerblading, dogs. Beautiful scenery

Atmosphere/Decor/Comfort -
All modern yet cozy furnishing throughout the house. Total of 6 smart tvs, streaming Hulu, Netflix and Amazon. High speed internet, blue tooth speaker in the family room, new light fixtures and ceiling fans in all rooms, many candles and fireplace light with remotes. Very comfortable blankets and pillows throughout the house. All beds are memory foam, Tempur-pedic and cooling pillows in the rooms, down filled futon/couch in the unfinished basement bonus room,

Seasons Room -
Large dining table, 2 deep seat down filled couches, 70" smart tv, sound bar, remote candles, pac man gaming, lots of privacy as Seasons Room has an open view to the backyard/patio. This room also has it's own air/heat unit

Kitchen, Laundry Room and Bathrooms are stocked. Kitchen is stocked for cooking and dining. Bathtub/shower upstairs. Shower in basement has detachable handle (good for showering pets and toddlers). Plush bath towels . Bathrooms are stocked with toiletries, Laundry room has plenty of supplies.

Park -
The elementary school is on the same street a few houses down, great park for climbing and swinging

Games -
Corn hole, board games, puzzles, books, cards as well as bad mitten can be found in the basement storage room. 4 cruiser bikes in the the shed that guest are welcome to use to explore the area.

Long driveway holds approximately 4 - 5 vehicles. Parking on the street is allowed on the opposite side of the house. If you are traveling with a dog, please inform me prior to check in as there is a pet fee of $100 per dog (max 2 please)

Excellent place and location

House had everything we needed and was in a convenient location in a very nice quiet neighborhood. We would defi nately recommend this place and would use it again for any future trips to the area.

Great house close to ISU

We stayed for ISU football weekend and the house was great!! The lower level and backyard were very nice! Would definitely stay again.

Easy to get to, neighborhood was quiet, and lots of room to spread out or stay close to those staying here. A variety of games were offered. Definitely planning another stay here.

Cute home in Normal!

This is super cute property that is perfect for family get-togethers. Able to bring our dog due to completely fenced large yard. Lots to do in the area as it is situated between Bloomington and Normal. Beyond happy with our stay!

IWU Parents

This is quite possibly one of the BEST VRBO experiences we have ever had. The house was so lovely and well appointed. The fenced in yard was perfect for our dogs and the location to IWU was great. Donna was incredibly responsive and accommodating. We can't wait to return!

Cozy home away from home

We booked this home for our family stay for our daughter's ISU graduation. The home had everything we needed to relax and gather. Very nice entertainment room/enclosed porch was perfect! Quiet neighborhood and very close to campus. Highly recommended!

Quick trip to the area

Lovely home! So many well decorated, relaxing spaces to hang out and enjoy the quaintness of the home. Kitchen was well stocked for making meals. The outdoor area was delightful and perfect size for my dogs. So glad to have found this gem!

Great space for family and friends

We had a fantastic stay at this thoughtfully designed home in Normal! The location couldn’t be better, just minutes from ISU, making it incredibly easy to get to and from camp at ISU. The house makes the most of every inch of space, with beautiful décor and a layout that feels both cozy and functional.The kitchen was well-stocked with spices and essentials, which made cooking a breeze. Our kids especially loved the variety of games provided, such a nice touch that kept them entertained during downtime.Donna was great to work with throughout the process: answering questions before our stay, giving recommendations for siblings not attending camp, as well as during our stay.

Friends & family fun

We absolutely loved this house and plan to return again when we visit next. We had a total of 9 ppl: moms, daughters, aunts, grandma, and some friends stay here quite comfortably. The house had everything we needed and we enjoyed both the inside and the backyard on a beautiful day. Donna was great and so easy to work with.

Beautiful home!

The home, itself, is beautifully furnished with every ammenity you can imagine. Donna, our host, was very accommodating and quick to answer communications. The neighborhood was wonderful for many long walks we took; lots of big, historic homes that have been beautifully maintained. Very close to both college campuses. We'll definitely be back!

Great Time!!

We were there for a Wesleyan Graduation. It was perfect for our family, lots of places to sit and visit, every couch was very comfy to sit in. We had a little party and the backyard was awesome for that nice and big no one was on top of each other. We would stay at your house again for sure!!! Donna was super!!!!!

Fantastic stay!

Donna's house is beautiful and much larger than it looks from the outside. The neighborhood is quiet and safe and all of the beds and couches were really comfortable. There are also fun touches here and there like remote-controlled colored lighting and the PacMan game. It is also really easy to get to from the interstate. Donna is a fantastic communicator too. I only have great things to say about this house!

Summer Vacation to Visit Family

Neighborhood great. House was phenomenal with so many amenities. We were visiting our family and they loved coming over and playing the games/watching the numerous TVs! I did a lot of cooking for my extended family in town and had all utensils and many more cooking supplies than I expected. Will return whenever we can. Two thumbs up from the Grandkids!!

Amazing stay

We stayed here for two nights for my son’s wedding weekend,. It was the cutest and coziest little house, and we had plenty of room to spread out while still having our own privacy. All the bridesmaids (four of them) got ready and had hair and make up done in the house, and the photographer came and took first pictures with the bride and her father as well as the bridesmaids. The house is decorated so pretty that the pictures turned out fantastic. The location is perfect – close to everything yet quiet in a cute little neighborhood. Donna has paid great attention to detail in making her guests feel welcome, and we will definitely stay here again when we visit Bloomington!
