"It’s dated but it’s a really nostalgic stay if you like that sort of thing. We were there for a bachelorette party and it was a great location for walking around downtown. "

"We had one night on the road to spend in Georgia and wanted to awake to a beautiful sunrise, on a property where we could have dinner on site. Sea Palms was perfect on both counts. Excellent dinner, glorious sunrise over the marsh from a screened balcony. "

"It was a very clean, updated hotel from the (probably 50's). Check in was easy & I was able to check in early. Lady up front was friendly. Great rates for a room with a kitchen. It was located right on the main street, so getting in & out was a little tricky but not impossible. The bed wrapped itself around me & hugged me into a great sleep. It was quiet & pleasant stay. No breakfast though."
Historic Marshfront St Simons Estate • Heated Pool • Private Dock
8/10 Good
"This home is in a beautiful location and does accommodate a lot of guests. It would be great for multiple families who want separate areas/privacy but was not the prefect fit for our group of friends who wanted large gathering spaces. It has two very nice and well equipped kitchens which made for easy cooking for large number of people. The home is very cluttered with furniture which the pictures don’t really indicate. We were disappointed that the listing had noted heated pool, but when we arrived we were told that the owner doesn’t turn the heater on when outside temperatures get cooler. It was mid 70’s in the day and 60’s at night which is when we thought the pool heater would have been available. I’d suggest asking about the pool in advance if that is important to you. The dock and view from many areas of the home are stunning!!! Overall we enjoyed our time! "

10/10 Excellent
"The property was very clean, functional and welcoming. It was tastefully decorated, and we felt an immediate connection. The pool looked amazing, but unfortunately, the weather was not conducive to swimming during our stay. We still had a wonderful mini-vacation."
