"We had a lovely 3 night stay. The room was clean and very comfortable. It’s in a good location, quiet yet only a 5 minute walk from Lake Bled. The host was great - friendly, helpful and gave us some really good recommendations for places to eat and things to do and see. Nice breakfast options - we chose the breakfast box of local produce which was great."

"Had a fantastic stay at this immaculately clean pension. We had a room on the 1st floor which was very nice and it had a balcony. The breakfast was very good with lots of choice and eggs cooked to order. Peter was a charming host and was very informative and was glad to help with travel plans. The location was slightly back from the lake and perfect."

"The hotel has a killer location that completely changes everything about the stay in Bled. Front desk and the pool team is very nice and helpful. The pool and the beach are outstanding. However, the hotel is very dated and the rooms are falling apart. The hardwood floor is lose and windows panels are cracked. It’s used to be charming but now it just very old. The breakfast service was disappointing, our omelette was discussing but the rest of the breakfast was good and had a lot of verity. Overall, we were very happy with the stay because of the location and the beach. However it’s time to renovate the hotel."

"The hotel is in a great location, easy to walk to the lake but not right in the middle of the hustle and bustle. There is limited parking right at the hotel but there are a couple of other options, we only had a car for the one night and managed to get a spot right at the hotel. Room was a good size, only drawback was no elevator and we were up on the 3rd floor with large suitcases, lol, but hubby did carry them up ! We ate dinner one evening here, and had typical Slovenian food which was very good. We also had breakfast one morning, always a nice way to start the day. Nice little touch, there is a jar of candies on each floor that we took advantage of. I would stay here again and recommend."

"Great location. Worth paying extra for the balcony with a view of the lake. Hotel is nicely updated. Tasteful decor. Comfortable bed. Very helpful staff. Would definitely repeat. Only thing I didn’t like is that the restaurant bar outside plays lame music later into the evening than you might expect in such an otherwise peaceful place."

"After spending 15 nights in various hotels on a multi- country tour, we needed to find two nights’ accommodations before joining a second tour. The two nights we needed happened to be on a weekend. I could not find accommodations in hotels recommended by our tour company. I searched Hotels.com and found Aparthotel Gaja in Bled, Slovenia. I booked two nights quickly, so as not to be stranded without a place to stay. We spent two nights in a specious apartment, within walking distance from the Bled city center. Actually, next door to the hotel where we had spent two nights for a similar price. The apartment was modern with USB and USBC plugs on the wall, with a fully-equipped kitchen, and a very comfortable bed. Great breakfasts were delivered in to the room each morning and there was free parking, with very helpful guidance, especially in a city where you cannot do your laundry without paying for parking. Finally, Katrina is a gem who seemed to be ever present to answer every question."
