The Space:
Free Zone X by Tiny Away is situated in the peaceful countryside of Zell-Freibach, just a 39-minute drive from Klagenfurt am Wörthersee, the capital city of the southern Austrian province of Carinthia. This charming tiny home is nestled in a wide-open meadow with breathtaking mountain views, enjoy access to a community barn with a full kitchen, and a large fire pit for evening gatherings.

A peaceful retreat that allows you to relax and reconnect with nature, all while enjoying the modern comforts that make your stay unforgettable. Nearby Fishery Steffan, the stunning Wörthersee, the enchanting Wildensteiner Wasserfall, and the vibrant cities of Klagenfurt and Ljubljana.

Take the opportunity to experience local life and savor delicious cuisines while exploring these beautiful surroundings.

It's a cozy 221-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and shower (electric heated for hot showers) for your use. There are two tiny houses on the property.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you're booking for a group, we also have a second tiny home, "Free Zone 2," available with 24 hours' notice, ensuring you have even more cozy holiday homes to enjoy.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny house and its surroundings.

The Neighborhood:
Free Zone 1 by Tiny Away is situated in the peaceful countryside of Zell-Freibach, just a 39-minute drive from Klagenfurt am Wörthersee, the capital city of the southern Austrian province of Carinthia.

Fishery Steffan gives you a calm outdoor setting to start your visit. From there, Alpengasthof Malle brings you into the mountains with wide views and hearty regional dishes. Wörthersee adds a refreshing stop with clear water for swimming or relaxing by the shore. Gasthaus Terklbauer offers a warm alpine setting with classic Austrian meals that create a cozy break.

For more adventure, the Hochobir caves take you into an impressive underground world, followed by Tscheppachschlucht which brings you back into open air with its dramatic gorge. The Wildensteiner Waterfall rounds out the day with a quiet green space that suits slow walks and peaceful moments.

Ljubljana provides a lively change of pace with a charming old town and riverside paths. Klagenfurt offers historic streets, local shops, and welcoming cafés for a relaxed city visit.

Getting Around:
By car:

From Zell Pfarre to Ferlach you need 15 minutes with a 2WD. Here you get everything you need.
The Capital of Kärnten Klagenfurt ist 30 minutes far away with a 2WD.

By public transport:

A Bus takes you in the morning and in the Afternoon to Klagenfurt. It takes about 2 Hours.

- Water is free
- Wi-Fi is available
- Gas BBQ Grill is available
- No smoking allowed inside the tiny house
- There are two tiny houses on the property
- Mobile phone reception has a good signal
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Pets are allowed with an additional fee of €15/pet
- Pets should be kept on a least at all times
- Please note that this is a PET-FRIENDLY property, and pet policies will be sent prior to arrival
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
- Breakfast is available for €12 per person. Inclusions: A basket with fresh bread, eggs, salami, honey, tomatoes, cheese, apple and a coffee. All in organic quality and regional from the farmers here.

- In order to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of our cassette toilets a minimum additional cleaning fee is applied for stays of 5 nights or more. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a hygienic experience during your stay.
