Cheap but not especially cheerful.
Our room was Situated directly above a nightclub, we had the pleasure of staying awake until at least 3am every morning.. sometimes 5am!
And for some reason, once the Dutch kids leave the club they just wait outside for EVERYONE else .
The apartment itself is no frills.
None.
At all..
Not even plugs in the sink..
Communication once booked is not the best..
We arrived outside of office hours, but still expected a reception.. the office that deals with keys/bookings/linen etc is 3 streets away and opens 5pm-8pm.
So on arrival we had an hour long panicked goose chase wondering how to actually get in and with kind help from a business across the road from the apartment, we managed to retrieve the keys from a lockbox.
The children's play area doesn't exist anymore, just an empty patch of ground.
Sunbeds are 2 euros per day...( Not much I know, but i expected them to be part of the amenities)
Not much at all in blanes for families with younger children.. we had to venture into lloret for any form of evening entertainment..
(Also, don't trust the segales bus service to get you home from lloret or malgrat!!, Taxi is about 18 euros)
I really don't usually moan... but it just seemed like 1 thing after another here.. the final worry was the door handle of the complex breaking off the night we were due to leave.. making a rather exciting game of can we get out or not... (luckily we did.. never to return)
