Top Blanca Peak Trailhead Hotel Reviews
Dunes Inn
8/10 Good
"Clean room. Front desk person was nice."
Comfort Inn & Suites Alamosa
10/10 Excellent
"The breakfast on Saturday morning was amazing. Green chili was a hit . Pluse waffles sooo good . Also pet friendly is a must for my family . I wish pool hours would go until 11pm as we are there to relax and would've like to swim late . My daughter in college there that way we came out ."
Mt Blanca vista, views of multiple 14ers and Sand Dunes National Park.
10/10 Excellent
"The house is very cute and well appointed. We enjoyed the quiet and dark location, it is for star gazing. We were there during the lunar eclipse. The location is beautiful with a full view of Mt Blanca . It was very windy a few days while we were there so very dusty . This made sitting outside not happen as much a we would have liked. The house is within a 25 minute drive to the GSDNP, and Zapata Falls , both of which we explored. We would stay again, highly recommend ."
The Lodge Motel
10/10 Excellent
"Loved that the place was pet friendly. Staff was wonderful and helpful."
Dunes Rest
10/10 Excellent
"Gorgeous views, perfect deck, great living room!"
Rustic Rook Resort Great Sand Dunes
10/10 Excellent
"We only stayed for one night but I wish we could have stayed longer! It was such a cute set up! Getting to experience a truly dark area to see the stars right out of the front door was so cool! The beds were pretty comfy but the pillows could have been better, but for a camp setting I wasn’t disappointed. There’s a wood stove and extra blankets to help keep warm, and the bathrooms were kept pretty clean which was nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely keep this place in mind for future Colorado trips."
Minutes from the Great Sand Dunes National Park. Stunning views.
10/10 Excellent
"Very close to the dunes, there is a nice view from the porch that the listing photos don't do justice. If you're stargazing it's excellent, no visible street lights or neighborhood lights."
Barndominium W/ Views of The Sangre de Cristo Mountains
10/10 Excellent
"Great spot! Very spacious, comfortable beds, easy access and secure. Beautiful views!"
A STUNNING OFF GRID PROPERTY, FORT GARLAND, CO Wild Wind Manor
8/10 Good
"The house was beautiful, comfortable, and a great home base for my climb up Little Bear. The only small downsides were that it got pretty warm without A/C, and would have been nice to have a mini refrigerator to keep food and drinks cold. Other than that, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend it! I will definitely stay here again."
