"Moxy is unique hotel chain by Marriott, this is my first time staying there with my family and I loved it. The front table/bar area with the swings are a nice modern touch. Hubby and I enjoyed the bar and our free drink tokens until 11:30 and we loved the drinks and our bartender, Elle. Room was good, beds comfy. The bathtub had issues with drainage. It needs to cleaned using a declogger. Valet was good. One issue we saw throughout was that the staff (at the bar and valet) were going above and beyond to make it comfortable for the guests but they seemed frustrated. The hotel management needs to be concerned, if they don’t give the staff what they need to continue providing great service there will be a lot of turnover. I will give Moxy another chance. "

"Lovely hotel, very clean with friendly staff. Easy to get to and lots of parking. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Fun artwork and colors in the room. Awesome breakfast options. The only thing we would change is to perhaps have done sort of sound dampener on the outside door because it kinda foams each time someone comes in or out. "

"This historic hotel was definitely a surprising gem. The surrounding area of the city was a bit sketchy but the property itself was wonderful. Comfortable rooms, beautiful decor, convenient restaurant."

"The only positive things I can say is the bed was comfortable, it had a microwave and refrigerator, and it is very close to the zoo. The in-room coffee maker was broken, but I was able to fix it. The coffee provided was not meant for the coffee maker and there was no sugar or cream provided. There was an in-door pool, but it was set to about 70 degrees and was too cold to use. It advertised continental breakfast, but at breakfast time there was a sign that said "No Breakfast." Generally, the entire property was run-down. There was no hand soap in the bathroom and they did provide shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower, but they were practically empty. It's a shame because you can tell the property used to be nice but the current owners have let it go."
