"A lovely stay in quiet country setting, although depending on what else is happening you may be limited by the facilities you can enjoy. In our case, due to a wedding a visit to the Distillery was unavailable on the only whole day we had and it was also tricky to find time to use any of the spa facilities as they have limited opening hours. Which is fine if you're here for a spa weekend, but not if you have other plans. The food is the Grill is excellent and the waiting staff were amazingly friendly."

"The hotel is modern and therefore has contemporary facilities. We use the swimming pool, sauna and steam room on two occasions they were all clean and hygienic. The hotel is slightly outside the centre of the city but easily accessible and we’re able to drive along the coast and see the beautiful coastline."

No restaurant at the hotel but the services are nearby and there’s the shopping village on the other side of the M4 junction with loads of options Only negative is the £5 per night parking charge which wasn’t made clear before booking. Overall a good option for a budget stay"
