stressful
having had a very stressful week my husband not being able to accompany me on my trip due to a fall. i arrived hoping for a relaxing time. on checking in by young man on reception, he insisted needed to pay. i explained i had a free rewards night with Hotels.com he wasn't having any of it adding to my stress, no i must pay him he said. thankfully i eventually found my booking on my phone after a phone call, i was proved correct no apology i really could have done with out the hassle. my room 207 was over the function room, view of a brick wall. woman singer screeching and thud thud thud music thankfully i had ear plugs and the fan helped drowned out the noise. won't be staying again.

Excelllent value for money. Comfortable large bedroom. Nice dinner and very good breakfast served in lovely dining room with terrific service. Very limited parking but plenty of free street parking around.

Value for money was excellent. A family room for me, my wife and our 3 year old granddaughter with a 3 course dinner and breakfast and free parking for £90 all in for one night. Fantastic. The staff in the hotel were first class as well and couldn't do enough to help us. Service in the bars and restaurants was superb and as a bonus there is a tram stop right outside the hotel for journeys to and from Blackpool central

Lovely hotel, we had Seaview twin room which was spotless however could do with refurbishing as was dated. Food and service excellent. Only downside was the wait for lift which at meal times was erratic. Would definitely return.

This hotel is situated in a nice quite part of Blackpool, the reception & lounge areas are well presented. The room we slept in was tired, definitely needing some TLC ! The food was ok but not enough for a growing man.

Excellent location. Public areas are all very clean and been fairly recently refurbished. As have some bedrooms. My room was desperately in need to being refurbished, it looked outdated though it was clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I’d stay again if I’m Blackpool.

This is a lovely seafront hotel. Our room was a large family room which was dated but clean. The bed was a bit old a creaky but the kids beds were fine and were round the corner so it was a bit more private for us. The food was lovely and the kids entertainment in the summer holidays was really good fun. This hotel is in an ideal location to see Blackpool and we had a great time as a family.

Friendly, professional staff in all the hotel. Good quiet location on the sea front, tram stop handy. Food very good choice in restaurant. Would definitely recommend for a comfortable stay.

The whole breakfast experience was terrible. The first morning we waited 15 minutes to get shown to our table and the head of the dining room never left the young guy that was serving our area, another waiter said he was getting it all wrong. The last morning, the head took our order without writing it down, we got the cereal, tea, coffee and orange juice, then we waited ages for the hot food, we asked her where it was and she was very cutting to us and told us she was serving someone else, then another waitress came to us and blamed the young guy who had nothing to do with anything. He was actually trying to sort it out for us. They blamed him for everything and to be honest it was verging on bullying. We are quite disgusted with the whole dining room service

We had an issue with the room on our first night but after speaking to reception the next morning it was quickly resolved. It is a lovely hotel and we would definitely stay again.

The room we had (princess suite) was perfect, nice room, nice view. The only poor thing was the restaurant, nothing wrong with it at all but just run of the mill,, I would say not a dining experience just your "tea"

Bedroom and bathroom facilities very poor for the amount charged to stay at this hotel. When I complained staff informed me it was because I had booked via Expedia. So apparently Expedia customers get a fake deal, I was advised to book straight with the hotel next time. The heating in the room was very poor and No extra blankets provided t keep the children warm in bed at night it felt more like the 1950’s. Staff promised to provide some but never did. No hair dryer or complimentary shampoo or shower gel provided. Washbasin looked like it had been sealed in by someone blindfolded using a knife and fork. On a plus the rooms were clean but still Absolutely appalled at the facilities in the bedrooms for a family of seven, this tainted our experience of The Sheraton and won’t be going back or recommending to family or friends.
