Mountain hideaway
A very welcoming and extremely cosy home for a mountain getaway. Very well equipped kitchen with fabulous views of the Sydney city skyline and sunsets. The heating options were great and it didn’t feel like winter inside! Close to lots of interesting places to explore we will certainly return to Hat Hill Hideaway soon.

Fabulous home
We had the best week at Hat Hill Hideaway, returning for our second year in a row. The home is cosy and comfortable, the backyard and fire pit is great for kids but the highlight is the fabulous view! We look forward to returning again.

Great Holiday House
Overall, my friends and I had a really enjoyable stay here. If the weather permits, there are some nice local trails available. The check-in process was easy and I'd stay here again if given the chance!

What a view
Great location - quiet with a beautiful view. Many lovely brightly coloured parrots visited us on the balcony. The perfect spot to be based whilst entertaining my friends visiting from NZ and showing them the wonderful blue mt sights and delights. I look forward to staying again. Spectacular views
A very comfortable spacious house in quiet location with fabulous views. Plenty of space for everyone and we’ll stocked with crockery & utensils. The house is just a couple of klms out of Blackheath which is a lovely little town. Communication from the property manger has been exemplary. We had an issue with the gas fireplace not working, they tried very hard to have it fixed the day we reported it but unfortunately it couldn’t be fixed, so we were provided a complimentary bag of wood for the wood heater by the owner to help keep us toasty warm. If we’re ever in the blue mountains again we will definitely stay here

This property is well presented, it’s comfortable warm, has great views and is well located. Everything you need is included and there is lots of space for a group or extended family.

Beautiful view and peaceful location
Pros: - Check-in was a breeze. - Beautiful location with amazing views. - Plenty of heating inside and out. - Great amenities and well equipped, particularly the kitchen. - Comfortable furnishing with ample space for group of 8. - Convenient access to Blackheath, hiking trails and lookouts. - Feeding platform and seeds provided which attracted friendly and colourful birds to the verandah and around the property, and we even had a kangaroo visit daily! Cons: - Only hand soap and hand moisturiser was provided in bathrooms so be prepared to bring all your own toiletries. - BBQ was very small for our group of 8 and we had to do 3 lots of cooking which meant that everyone ate different times. - Instructions explaining the heating (particularly what the thermostats were for would have been helpful - we eventually guessed that they were most likely was for underfloor heating). - Had to wash out most of the glasses before use as they were unclean. If possible, we would have given an overall score of 4.5 stars for this property rather than just the 4 that we were limited to choosing. We would highly recommend Hat Hill Getaway and would book it again in future.

Great stay
We all had a great time. We only had two issues, the central heating lacked instruction and the liarplace in the lounge room was a little disappointing. Otherwise the house and facilities were immaculate and relaxing. We would all happily stay here again

Winter warmer
Perfect family getaway for the family. Warm, yet spacious house with plenty of extras and those spectacular views. Loved the heating options, attention to detail in the kitchen and living areas, bath for the little one, heaters on the balcony, comy beds, bird feeder attracting native birds. Did I mention the heating? Loved it.!

Absolutely stunning house with amazing location.
The house was gorgeous and very well equipped. the kitchen had absolutely everything a cook could possibly want. the location overlooking the mountain was beautiful. didn't want to leave the house at all. The only thing we would change (personally for us) is a slightly brighter light bulbs as my parents don't like candles and the lighting was a bit too dim for them (but overall very romantic). Will definitely stay again.

Beautiful, well-equipped house
This house was perfect for our family of four. Even though it was a rainy few days, the house was well-equipped with Netflix, Stan, board games, books, and DVD's for entertainment as well as everything you could need in the kitchen. The view from the deck was stunning (in between the rain) and it's such a beautiful place to sit and relax. It's also a short drive to several beautiful scenic lookouts and walks, as well as not too far to bigger tourist attractions like Scenic World and the Jenolan Caves. Check in and out was very easy, and the whole booking process was fantastic, especially as we had to do it with very short notice. We would definitely recommend Hat Hill Hideaway to anyone.

Beautiful Experience
As we entered the home our first impression was Wow. It smelt clean and fresh and looked wonderful. All furnishings are quality and matching. We had a beautiful and relaxing stay. The view, night sky and fresh air is amazing. I only regret not booking a longer stay but we hope to do this again next year just longer.

Superb!
House is very well laid out and furnished. Plenty of space of 8 people, with open plan layout but separate zones. All beds were very comfortable sizes. It was too cold to use any of the outdoor amenities, but they looked very nice. And the view!!!!! Absolutely spectacular!!!!! My wife is very particular about homes & furniture, but the first thing she said when we arrived was "This is perfect! Can we buy it?" Would highly recommend (and are thinking about revisiting during summer)

Loved the peace, the view and still close to everything.
We loved the short get away from Sydney. Heaps of short and long bush walks with great views. Still close to Katoomba and Wentworth Falls, and a nice quiet home to return to.

The Perfect Blue Mts Getaway!

Awesome Place
One of the best places possible to stay in Blackheath. The house is amazing, well set out with large bedrooms and two living areas. The view over the valley is incredible. Have stayed here a few times and will be back every year.

Amazing
I can’t believe this little gem. It felt like home and every little thing had been thought of. I stayed there with girlfriends and we were all sad to leave. It was very clean, well situated, great views. Everything was included. Linen, multiple fires, board games, books to read and enough kitchenware to last our whole stay. Well done to the owners for this gorgeous property. We loved it!

The property was in a beautiful location and facilities were excellent. A tip for the future: instructions on the workings of fires and heating would be a benefit but our overall experience was terrific.
