"We are regulars here and have stayed here many times over the years. The staff are exceptional and a special thank you to Jester at the front desk and Patricia at the Club Lounge for making our visits great. I however would like to mention that the property seemed more run down this time. We had booked 5 rooms and all of us felt like there was a funny smell as soon as we entered the rooms. Like old or damp. The AC also had issues. Just the overall cleanliness was missing and the need for better property maintenance was quite obvious. The bathroom handles were loose; the bathtub was old and run down and the beds did not feel comfortable. Our other experience was that the Club lounge was totally skimping on quality and quantity. Way less items were offered which was sad to see. We had also asked for NO PORK/PIG products but the very first evening we were met with only one hot food item offered and this was "Pork dumplings". Inspite of the reminder, there was only bacon for breakfast the first morning. The quality of hard drinks being offered was also not the same. Patricia requested for chicken sausages for breakfast the following day which we are grateful for, but these were hard and dry. The cheesy scrambled eggs were good. When we booked through Expedia, it showed us all a confirmed rate of $418 total per room for 2night stay (Club level) but upon check out all of us got charged $425.92. I feel like our guaranteed prices were not honored and the hotel was unable to do adjust"

"In town for a golf tournament, good location, efficient check in, clean & quiet room. I never took the hotel up on their continental breakfast but did use the in room coffee both mornings. The towels were soft, not the usual sandpaper you find at most hotels/motels. The lighting in the room was dim. Would stay here again."

"Overall we are having a great stay. We are on our 3rd night. Staff is wonderful. Food is basic. Building is old. As a contractor myself I can probably see more flaws than the average eye, but I do see quite a few repairs that were poorly done. Other reviews suggest the hot tub has been out of commission for a long time. Its still kinda gross and looks like it needs to be pulled out anyways. But it was advertised and I was hoping for it. Oh well. Im going to have to go to a less expensive place as its a bit pricey for my extended stay needs. The place doesnt seem to have many staying here. Perhaps thats why? I know many people needing extended stays in these trying times. No complaints though. The beds are awesome and the people are nice."

"There was nothing about this place that was just ok, nor was there anything that was outstanding. We had the two bedroom which was nice and spacious and a full kitchen which was nice. Our toilet was a 1.6 gallon per flush model and it struggled to rinse everything down, especially the paper itself which was frustrating to say the least. The tv in the living area was the smallest of the three in the suite which was odd to us, but these rooms likely cater to transient workers, not couples like us. The breakfast was ok, but there seemed to be a premium on the boiled eggs as we could only ever get one each at the most. Caterpillars where everywhere the parking lot and at the front entrance which was a little offputting, a broom occasionally would make the entryway a little more pleasing. Some restaurants close by which is always appreciated. Would we stay again, we’d probably try elsewhere next time."

"When I first arrived, I was greeted so warmly by Lindsay. She is an absolute gem and check in was seamless. She told me of the breakfast, pool, exercise room, ice machine, it all! She was on duty when I checked out and once again, it was an exceptional experience. I will always check this great hotel first when I travel to Red Deer. Thanks Lindsay!"
