Holiday Inn Express Manchester City Centre Arena by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"Prime location, clean environment, lovely staff. Amy and Frankie at reception were very polite and professional— they couldn’t do enough for us. And the kitchen staff, amazing. Baazi was friendly and helpful. Everyone outdid selves, even housekeeping. I highly recommend."
"Lovely hotel in a historic building full of character. The check-in was easy with the code to enter the building and room but I did feel like the security was compromised as the side door was open all the time so you could freely enter the hotel without a code or question from staff. TV signal/wifi wasn’t great and only app available was YouTube. The rooms are lovely and big, but very low lighting so was quite dark. A bottle of water in the fridge would have been welcome. Parking available with hotel or nearby parking available with a very short walk. 15/20 minutes easy walk to Arndale and main shops. Staff were friendly and very hands-on at breakfast, breakfast was okay although more expensive if booked via hotels.com, I wouldn’t recommend the avocado bagel but the pancakes was lovely. "
