"There had been a heatwave during our stay. The one reason we booked this hotel was The Air conditioning was not working in the room that we had checked into."

"Breakfast staff deserve a medal coping with the understaffing. The orange juice is just squash. Nice poached egg available if you ask though. Good sausage and mushrooms. too. The waiting staff are lovely unlike the cold, unfriendly receptionists who should work at a GP’s! The grounds were picturesque and the pool okay if a bit too warm in the heatwave. Room 17 is tiny but it was clean. The noise from the boiler outside was unpleasant as was the non-existent view. Hit and miss but good value if you join Radisson and get free use of the pool. Avoid Room 17 though it is a bit of a walk and noisy."
