The hotel is nice as well as the staff. However, the room I had, had a lot of issues, mainly the noise. It faced the courtyard/inner part of the hotel and there was constantly a huge amount of noise coming from it. In the morning, starting before 6 AM there were very loud noises coming from there. Then, essentially 24/7 there was a very loud noise that would occur at random times and it sounded like drilling. When I asked the staff about it, they told me that there wasn't any construction work happening, so I have no idea what was causing that noise, but it was very disturbing, especially during the night. It happened every day and night for 3 nights. Also, the blackout curtains didn't really do their job and the breakfast selection was pretty poor. It didn't cater to dietary needs (e.g. they only offered normal milk and no dairy-free options, the same with yoghurt, etc.) and there didn't seem to be enough food for everyone.

Hotel itself is beautiful and the location is great, the overall value did not match the price. The Nobu breakfast was particularly disappointing. It was extremely overpriced for what was offered and, more importantly, had very limited options for children. The selection did not justify the price, and I expected much better from a hotel associated with a name like Nobu. The refrigerator system was also extremely inconvenient and frustrating. The in-room fridge was essentially a minibar with a sensor system, meaning we couldn’t properly store something as basic as milk for our children. I later realized that even moving items around could potentially result in charges. For families, having a usable refrigerator should be a basic amenity, not something that creates anxiety about being charged. Almost everything at the hotel was very expensive. We paid around $70 for two drinks and one very small scoop of ice cream, which felt unreasonable. Even a regular iced latte at Café Inez was around $10.
