Excellent venue, free gym and pool access in huge University sports centre.- worth a lot in itself For any graduates , great nostalgic setting. Rooms very clean - traditional academic pine decor. Accommodation is named after son of Captain Scott & former Chancellor of the University. Extremely good value for money, room has everything you could wish for

There was a bus direct from New Street Station to the hotel. The area around the hotel was very quiet and well maintained. 30 minute walk from Edgbaston Cricket Ground good carparking.

Perfect location for activities at the University. A nice room, though Bathroom could benefit from modernising. But all clean and comfortable. Would definitely book again.

I spent 2 nights in this place. The property was clean and neat. However, on the first night, at 1am, there was someone attempted to open my room using a key. Lucky enough, I was awake and I could hold the door handle, but I dare not take a peek of who was outside. The second night, I was barely sleep at all since I could hear some women chatting and giggling on the corridor throughout the night.

Twin room not a double room
I booked a double room however, was given a twin bedroom. In the morning 9 am, the cleaner starts to work and knock at the door for two times to avoid late checking out.

I am still waiting for someone to contact me regarding this as I complained when I arrived me nothing happened. Room filthy and mouldy Window would not shut so room was freezing 25 minutes from the markets which was not stated on the website as stated it’s one of the closest hotels Not stated it’s uni accommodation and full of kids Room is not located near any of the facilities Not happy at all And my complaint was ignored

Peter Scott House showing signs of wear and tear and could do with a lick of paint, unlike it's parent hotel, Edgbaston Park Hotel, which is pristine.

Great for an overnight stay near the university

Good but could have been better.
I arrived at about 9pm. Checkout was quick and simple. It was raining and I was iffered an umbrella to wald to the other building. The umbrella did not latch. When I entered the room it was very hot. I turned off the radiator - ultimately finding that whichever way I turend the the control it wouldn't turn off. I slept with the windows wide open, curtains drawn, fan on full and on top of the covers. In the morning I was told I could have called reception, but I was no aware of that at the time, and it was rather late anyway.

It was ok but for £70 I would expect a better quality bathroom. Realised why there are no photos of them on the website. The bathroom was also dirty so I didn’t use it, left as soon as possible the next day. Bed was comfortable but it was quite noisy; you can hear other bathrooms quite loudly in the night. Location is good, but I wouldn’t stay again

I had a lovely stay. Better than expected. Clean, comfortable and pleasant. Good beds. One minor downside was relatively poor internet which was a pity as I needed to teach via Zoom. Had to use my mobile data. Other than that, my stay was great.
