"Kitchen fully equipped. A/C never completely cooled room while room of a friend was cool. Check in washroom had paper and packaging on the floor and no toilet paper. Staff were friendly and efficient, beds were comfortable and the parking spaces near the entrance were appreciated. Pleased with the stay."

"The location is great. The view of Mount Currie from the living room is stunning. The neighbourhood is quiet even during weekdays. Restaurants and coffee shop are a few minutes walk along the peaceful canal.I recommend Mount Currie Coffee Company, Backcountry Pizza and a visit to the public library, which are all in the same area.You're also at a short driving distance from organic farms (I recommend North Arm farms), Nairn falls, and Joffre Lakes. This is also a great base for daytrips to other cities such as Birken and Whistler.Susan is a great host. She welcomed us, showed us around and went over instructions, house rules, and recommendations of things to do and places to visit. Observe the check-in hours and quiet hours, and the rest is common sense."

"Always a wonderful time staying at Tyax Lodge, it's one of the most beautiful properties I have ever stayed at. It's such a treat to be able to come back and adventure in the Chilcotins. A swim and spa circut after a hard day in the backcountry is the best reward."

"We had an amazing stay at this property and was what we were looking for: secluded place in the mountains with all the amenities that were listed. We didn’t realize until after we booked that the owners live on the upper floor of the house, but the space was very private and we barely saw or heard the owners or their sweet dogs."
