Bon séjour

Mon séjour s’est bien passé. Le personnel est sympathique, la chambre agréable, et le petit déjeuner est copieux. Parking gratuit. Cependant impossible d’aller au restaurant à pied, il faut reprendre la voiture

Einfach gehalten, aber sehr nett, sauber, zuvorkommend, COVID-19 Bestimmungen hervorragend einhaltend. Preis/Leistung = TOP Parkplatz vor der Tür sehr angenehm (keine Zusatzkosten)!

This is hospitalty at it's best

Excellent host who was very helpful in every way, nice room with excellent ac, great shutters for a total blackout and a nice new bathroom with a great shower. Not noisy at all, good restaurant reccomendations and parking, just a really nice place that we would happily stay at again.

Super hôtel, les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et serviables? Le petit déjeuner copieux et excellent, si on retourne dans le coin on saura où aller. Dans la chambre une bouteille d'eau est à votre disposition. En plus il y avait quelques chaines de télévision française.

I just spent one night at the Weinhaus Selmigkeit, but I'd gladly stay another night or more in this lovely hotel. Unfortunately the heating was broken during my stay - and only in my part of the hotel, but I don't like it too warm, so it didn't bother me at all. The owner sincerely apologized for this, as he couldn't get somebody to fix it the same day, he tried. Next morning, I heard the owner talking to a plumber in the hallway already. Problems happen, it's a sign of a good service however, if they are being taken care of as soon as possible. And that is exactly what Weinhaus Selmigkeit does. Breakfast was vast and from cereals to ham/cheese provided something for every taste. The service was excellent, rooms had WLAN and a mini bar and the sparkling water was complimentary. A train is running past this hotel, especially in summer with open windows, some might recognize the noice, but ear plugs are provided. And I slept like a baby even without them, didn't hear a thing. I'm just mentioning it just in case. To sum it up: I've had a pleasant experience at the Weinhaus Selmigkeit and would recommend it to everybody who want's to spend a few lovely days hiking or cycling along the Rhine.

Our 2nd stay here and we love it and the family who own the Hotel. they are very good about helping us plan interesting places to visit in the area and in Germany. We have done almost all of the places and so nice to know what /where to go. so nice to find a place where we just automatically go back to and nest year will stay for a week. the Breakfasts are also very good...English and German spoken and I use bits of my German to practise. very central also....Our windows look out to the Rhine River!!

On ne voit pas le Rhein de l’hotel et il y a le train en face qui passe. L’acceuil fut très bien et un bon petit déjeuner au matin.

We loved it and learned so much of what to do where to visit, what to drink/wine info etc Perfect place and area to start one's trip also we had fun talking to the family who own the hotel Selmigkeit.and practising our German and the Breakfasts were superband filling and we shall go back again The rhine right out our window and the walking/bike paths and the bus etc.. and quiet

Not What I Expected

Our room was ready and clean when we arrived late morning but we felt like we came at a bad time since they were still cleaning other rooms, hurried and a little unorganized. The hotel is directly across from the train tracks and view of cranes area so the view we thought we’d might have of the river was cranes and train track. A package of ear plugs was on each pillow and the small piece of chocolate next to them was no consolation. The trains run very frequently and they are loud. Fortunately, I did sleep. The room was very warm especially in the evening and with no screens in the window the evening bugs did find their way to the lights. I did not have time to inquire about the wine tasting in the morning, but part of my intrigue with this location where the photos and description of the “wine tasting historic wooden barrel wine cellar.” So, when I asked him about it he told me it was not available and in another location. The breakfast was good, typical cheeses, meats, hot eggs, cereal and beverages. The owner did drive us to the train after breakfast, which was very kind and somewhat redeeming.

Good place for stay in Bingen

I really felt like this was a good deal for the money... room was simple but very clean and the staff was really super. I got a lot of good local tips and referrals. The breakfast was nice and I would stay there again.

自転車での気まま旅でホテルへの予算もそれほどなく、料金の安さで決めた宿。しかし、料金にしては満足できる内容でした。受付の方は事務的な感じでなく、落ち着いた対応で好感が持てました。英語も普通に通じます。部屋もとても清潔でした。朝食は一般的な感じで、パンとハム、ヨーグルト、コーヒー等。お願いしたら、牛乳と、冷たい水を出してくれたのもありがたかったです。 受付の方に教えてもらったレストランで飲んだワインは格別でした。自分は実はワイン嫌いだったのですが、甘口の白ワインをいただきワイン嫌いが消えました(笑) 駅から少し離れたところにあり、落ち着いた雰囲気だったのも〇

Great Hotel to start our Rhine Drive

One night stay coming from Heidelberg before out Rhine Drive. Family owned hotel for over four generations in a 300 year old building bu with modern extension for the hotel wing. Owner received us at the door. Friendly and very helpful. Room is clean, comfortable and quiet despite being next to rail way track and road.

Som om jeg var i familien til vertene

Vi ble forlagt på nabohotellet Kempter Hof. Betjeningen i begge hoteller var fantastisk serviceminded, men må spesielt trekke frem Frau Winther i Kempter Hof som pleiet oss som om vi skulle være hennes barn. Fantastisk hyggelig og flott. Hotellene sliter litt med togtrafikken, men med ørepropper utdelt car det en fon og rolig natt
