Underground car park proved necessary - busy outside. Excellent restaurant, although it looks somewhat sterile. Location helpful for viewing bay area and some superb local architecture.

Very comfortable and pleasant 4night stay
The hotel is very clean with a very friendly staff, it is just off a main road, has bus stops right beside it and is only about 10minutes walk from the metro. There is a restaurant in the hotel, a bar only doors away, a chemist shop, bakery only a couple of minutes away. Very comfortable and clean…I have rebooked already

Very correct personnel but bad conditions of the hotel. The light of the bathroom didn’t work and when I asked for mantainence at 7pm they said the was nobody so I had to shower and use it with the light of my mobile phone. The good thing is that at check out they made me a discount of eur 15 for the inconvinence

Nice clean efficient hotel
Very clean, comfortable hotel with great staff and a very good breakfast. Lack of decent restaurant options and location are the drawbacks. It is handy for the airport but some way by walking and train into Bilbao itself. Probably best as a business hotel.

Friendly, clean, modern, good breakfast
Despite booking at very short notice out of necessity, I felt I had landed on my feet with this hotel. The staff were really friendly and helpful at all times, the hotel room clean and well designed, and breakfast great. Will stay here again.

Limited cutlery, pans or equipment for cooking in room (even though self catering apartment) expensive €20 euro a night charge for a pet. Seems expensive on top of room charge

Walking distance (along the canal) to downtown Las Arenas which is a lovely place for tapas bar. The hotel is clean, modern, with excellent staff. A little noisy because close to express way. Easy free parking in front of hotel or around.

We visited in October mid week 3 nights partly because it was a bargain price and partly to see the Getxo part of Bilbao - it was an interesting 30min watefront walk to the Bizkaia transporter bridge. We used the metro to get in to central Bilbao which was very cheap (using the Barik card) but the 10 minute walk to the station is rather bizarre and memorable involving three graffitti swathed underpasses. However it seemed a very nice quiet neighbourhood with lots of joggers and dog walkers in the park across the road so not scary. The room was spotless and with the windows closed there was no sound from the traffic on the busy road outside. The air conditioning was very good. There is only a dining room offering a 3 course set menu with 3 choices for 16.50euros which includes a bottle of wine and water per table which is quite reasonable but not always what you want. I enjoyed my fish dish but my husband hated his chicken which was like a cardboard biscuit. We did not try the breakfast. There is no bar or any way to just get coffee. The minibar charged 3.65 for a kitkat! We did not find any cafes or bars that we liked around the hotel and it takes about 30 minutes to get in to the centre on the metro but if you are interested in exploring the Getxo part of Bilbao I would recommend this hotel.

Smart Modern Hotel
I booked this hotel as it was close to port, unfortunately not the port we were leaving from, my fault! However it was a lovely modern hotel , very clean and comfortable. Glad I made the mistake. Even though it meant a half hours drive in the morning.

One night stop over near Bilbao airport. Breakfast disappointing compared to other NH hotels in which I have stayed. Service at breakfast overly fussy, bordering on aggressive - far too keen to clear plates. Front desk very helpful though. Rather noisy - hotel is on large main road. Little to commend the area - few restaurants within easy reach.

Check in perfect, great rooms, but restaurant was terrible, only a basic menu, when asking for wine list only one white or red wine available no list, restaurant had no feeling a white room with a few pictures, served three courses in 33 mins you were rushed, such a shame, as no where local to eat really, except one loude bar further down the block. However ALL staff were pleasant..... Love NH hotels, but alas not this one

A few issues
We had to move rooms twice. The first time the lights in the bathroom didn't work, the second room the Internet access only worked if you stood at the door. The look of the hotel was nice and clean, the bedding was not at all comfortable. I think they had the worst pillow in the world. Location was far away from everything. I am glad we only used this as the pre airport hotel, if we had more time here I would have been very disappointed.

Hotel was very good for the price. The only thing is the other ones in Spain dobt charge for minibar the first night and it was a lil bit loud because is next to the highway. Everything else is awesome!
