We are a local property management company. So if there is anything you need before, during, or after your trip, please let us know!
We highly recommend 4-wheel drive in the winter months (Oct-May). We don't believe it's a necessity for the summer months but do find it a good idea! Lucky for you, we offer all guests who book with us discounts for rentals in Bozeman!
This home does not have air conditioning.
Most homes in Big Sky don't, thanks to our typically mild summer temperatures. For a true Montana experience, we recommend our classic "Montana A/C": open the windows at night to let in the cool mountain air, then close them and draw the blinds first thing in the morning to keep the cool air inside throughout the remainder of the day.
Transportation to Big Sky from Bozeman Airport In order to experience all that Big Sky has to offer, it is helpful to have access to a vehicle during your stay. This allows you to travel seamlessly throughout the community from the Gallatin River to Lone Peak. While ride-sharing and taxi services are abundant in other communities, Big Sky remains a small town with limited options for transportation. We offer a 5% discount code to Explore Rentals for confirmed guests. They are located minutes away from the Bozeman Airport and provide 4-wheel drive vehicles with dedicated snow tires in the winter and all-season tires in the summer!

Loved the location right on the slopes so everyone could ski in and out very easily. Hot tub views were incredible. Cozy cabin with great vibe that was perfect for dinners brought in and games for our family of four.
We so loved this convenient slope-side house. It was perfect for our ski getaway. The hot tub was plus after a long day of skiing. The house itself is charming, well decorated, and stocked with. everything you need. We loved the Moonlight Basin location. We hope to rent this property again soon!
I don’t normally write reviews but I had such a great experience and stay that I wanted to give the management company, property and community a great review.
The property was fantastic. Great two bedroom property- well appointed, and great location. Hot tub was fantastic. Always hot , ready to go. Easy ski in -ski out location. Wonderful views. Quiet and private. The management company was around every step of the way and couldn’t me any more helpful. Like a personal assistant all the way though . Can t say enough. Enjoy it like I did!
Cowboy Heaven is the absolute best spot on the mountain for our family of four! Plenty of room,‘views for smiles, easy access to the trails right out our door!
Our cabin was absolutely perfect for our group of four. Two parents, our daughter, and a friend of hers. Five would have been perfectly comfortable for us as well (there are 5 in our immediate family), although we weren’t there for the most part except to watch a little TV in the evenings and sleep. The views are just fabulous! Beautiful sunsets, lots of rainbows, and the stars at night are insane! The beds were very comfortable in both rooms and having two bathrooms was perfect. We did not do a lot of cooking, but I found everything I needed for the few times I made meals. The girls used the hot tub every day. They couldn’t get the temperature much over 95, but that is the only thing I would say was shy of perfect for us. I would highly recommend the Cowboy Heaven Cabins. We were contacted a few times to make sure we were settled in, to see if we needed anything, and then again with checkout details. Very smooth process. Hopefully, we will be returning next year with the whole family! Montana is now high on my list of favorite places!
We loved our stay and will be back. The views from every window and the hot tub are incredible. Recommend getting up slightly before sunrise and getting in the hot tub with a cup of coffee and watching the sunrise. The furniture in the living room was very comfy- I mention this as we thought it might not be based off the pics.

Perfect small-family cabin for skiing vacation
Two kids and two adults. The kids liked the bunk beds in one bedroom, while parents were in an adjacent bedroom. Cozy little cabin that was all we needed to have a great vacation. We stopped at the grocery store and picked up all we needed to cook dinners every night. Hot tub was a hit! Quiet on the inside of the cabin, so we hardly heard anything outside. Just a short walk (75 feet) to the end of the driveway to get on the slopes.
