Bridge trip

This house was perfect for 5 of us to get away and play bridge. They even had a card table and chairs! It was just as pictured and was very clean. Great communication with the owner and we will definitely rent it again.

Great house in nice location

The layout of this house was great for our family (parents with 4 adult kids and a grandbaby) as it essentially has 2 master suites. The house was very clean and well-stocked. The patio was a bit dusted with pollen, but that’s to be expected in Georgia in April. Lovely neighborhood. We just wished Big Canoe was walkable. The hostess did let us know this ahead of time, but it bears mentioning for those who are hoping to walk outside and hop on a trail. You’ll need to drive to a trailhead first. Overall 5

My sisters and I enjoyed staying at Big Canoe. This was a beautiful place with lots of amenities. Great views! It was like sleeping in a tree house.

Family Christmas trip

My family and I completely enjoyed our stay in Big Canoe. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed. The entire home was clean, with the exception of a few stray hairs in the linen/towels that didn't belong to us. The view was breathtaking and the location was second to none. The entire process was flawless and we would love to visit again in warmer weather.

Vacation in the Mountains

Wonderful vacation stay for our family! We enjoyed our time at Big Canoe getting to explore the Beach Club, some of the trails, fishing on Lake Petit, and walking to the Beach on Lake Sconti after dinner.

Perfect stay for our daughter’s wedding weekend. Owners are extremely friendly and easy to communicate with. We cooked dinner one evening and the home/kitchen is well equipped and very clean. Big Canoe Review

We had a great stay with two families, 4 adults and 4 children between 9-12 years old. House was clean, roomy, and had everything you need for a vacation. The view is wonderful. We enjoyed spending time on the deck, using the gas grill and relaxing. Great location close to the beach club and golf course. We hope to return in the future!

Wonderful home and hosts

The home was a wonderful respite from the hectic city. We spent the first night just enjoying the lake view off the porch and inside, the owner’s taste in art and decor. Truly appreciated our gracious hosts. They responded quickly to our requests for information and even arranged a pontoon boat tour for us. It was delightful!

Our group of 5 senior citizen women came to the area to tour Gibbs Gardens. The house was absolutely perfect for our group. We loved the porches and the gorgeous view. The hosts were very accommodating with restaurant suggestions and responded quickly to inquiries. We will return!

Great house for a quiet weekend getaway!

This cabin is amazing! Big Canoe is a great place to visit year round. Quiet neighborhood that makes you feel like your staying in the mountains in Tennessee or North Carolina. The neighborhood is still close enough to several great restaurants. Definitely try the Old Mulehouse in Jasper if you stay here. We had 8 adults staying and never felt crowded. The house was sparkling clean. Definitely recommend!

Stunning Lake View/Great Location

Clean, well stocked kitchen, amazing view of lake, close to all the Big Canoe amenities and plenty of room for everyone to have their space. Enjoyed many a cup of coffee on the deck overlooking the lake as we planned our days adventures. Quality time with family as we played board games furnished by the property. Kelly and Bryan the owners were very easy to communicate with and the property is just as described. 5 Star accommodations and look forward to returning in the fall!

A Peaceful Get Away

Kelly and Bryan’s place is BEAUTIFUL and is one of the best located properties in Big Canoe in my opinion. There’s a beautiful view of the water outside the window - parking is easy. Tons of board games and great stocked kitchen! Only thin I couldn’t find was an ironing board but we made do! Would stay again
