We loved our stay! The cabin was so adorable, and had everything we needed. We loved the peaceful, secluded location, as well as the winding roads to get there! The water amenities were wonderful, albeit a little pricey (which of course is no fault of the property owner!). I would book another girls trip here in a heartbeat!

We really enjoyed staying at the property! The house was provided with plenty of amenities that we needed for our stay. Beautiful views, lots of animal life in the area! We really enjoyed the lake and pool area, lots of walking paths to enjoy some outdoor time! Even saw a bear cub, which was super exciting! The host was great we didn’t really need them for anything during our stay, but communicated well before hand to provide us all the details and information of our stay. Even communicated the day we departed to see how our stay was! We will definitely be back! Thank you so much!

We loved our week in Big Canoe. The cabin was extremely clean and well appointed. Our hosts were super responsive and helpful. The beds are very comfortable. Both patios are comfy and clean. We loved drinking our coffee while watching the wild life. Our girls even spotted a little bear playing off in the distance. Big Canoe itself is a wonderful property with so much to do. The girls loved the beach club and food at the club house was excellent. Off property restaurants were also excellent. We highly recommend the property, cabin and hosts.

Spring Break in Big Canoe

Had a wonderful time relaxing in the Mts. Caught plenty of trout for a nice dinner the final night. Our boys loved the cabin which was very nice and clean. The spring break timing was not crowded and we still enjoyed most of the amenities in Big Canoe… kayaking, fishing, hiking. Look forward to visiting again!

Big Canoe retreat & refresh

Loved the cabin and the wood burning fireplace! The cabin had everything you need and then some. It was a joy to spend the week here and there were several things to do near by to keep busy, if you wanted to be. For us, it was mostly peaceful and restful.

Fall girls trip

We really enjoyed our stay at Rise and Shine cabin in Big Canoe. Everything was just like the pictures showed, a very warm cabin feel. Mark and Kelly have it equipped with everything you need. They were also helpful in our planning with suggestions on restaurants and things to do. It’s definitely a place we’d go back to.

Perfect Mountain Getaway

I went to the mountains for a short get a way to rest and relax. The cabin's kitchen though small had a great assortment of kitchen gadgets and pot/pans. They even had a hot water pot! The best part of the cabin is definitely the screened in back porch. I spent the majority of my time out there enjoying the beautiful fall leaves and weather. I will definitely make plans to stay here again.

Very Cozy & Serene Atmosphere

It was a great cozy home feel & had everything that we needed to cook meals and for extra family members to enjoy each others company. The neighborhood is beautiful and lots of deer! Loved it & highly recommend to anyone looking to get away or have a family get together! And even though we didn’t bring any children it’s set up to entertain and accommodate them too! : ). 👍👍

Tranquil and Fresh

It was a refreshing respite. There were many cozy sitting areas. Everything was supplied including spices, dishwasher soap, etc. The view was spectacular. We would recommend it to family and friends. It is a trek up the mountain and about a 40 min drive from Dawsonville. It is close to stores.

Great cabin in a cool community

My brother and I took our 4 teenage kids to GA for some white water rafting and to catch a Braves game. We needed a place that was centrally located to everything we were doing. This cabin was great for us. We were not aware that Big Canoe was a *large* gated community. We took some time one day just to explore Big Canoe. (We thought the chapel was beautiful.) The cabin had everything we needed. We hope to be back in the same area next summer.
