Great communication and accommodations.Perfect setting for a cabin getaway and perfect location. Also within walking distance of a playground/park and view of the lake. Would stay again!
We had a great time at this cozy little cabin. It is an older cabin, but that didn’t take away from the overall experience. The cabin is walking distance to the main Blvd & a short drive to the village. The cabin had a good working heater and a cozy little fireplace.
I’d recommend this cabin!
Good location as it was close to town and ski lifts. Main living areas were cozy and what was needed. Wood burning fireplace was really nice. The heater worked great. Only issue was the beds weren't very comfortable and it was a little tough to get a good nights sleep. Other than that, it was a cozy and accommodating little cottage!
Horrible disgusting dirty
Mice droppings and mice running around
Managment knew about mice issue I found mice traps hidden and still decided to rent it out knowing about the issue
I should start by saying the management company was really good. They were friendly, great communication. The cabin itself needs some work. My socks were black from the floors, they need a real deep cleaning. The doors all get stuck when you try to close them, and it's hard to open them. Be aware if you are in the room with the twin beds, anytime someone runs water or flushes the toilet it is LOUD. Must be a heavy sleeper for that room.
The kitchen is really nice, however.
Lastly, buried in the description is that there is no WiFi. I felt it was pretty hidden, but this was a big problem for me - so be aware if you are trying to do a work trip. They say it's for a "true getaway" but honestly it just feels cheap this day and age.
Overall the cabin fit our needs for our weekend away. One thing I missed is that there was no Wifi, not a lot of dishes to eat from, and the cabin could use a really good clean. The living room couch was terribly dirty. The heater works well but quite loud.

Bad twins!
We arrived late Friday because of the traffic. After check in, we arrived at the cabin and started to unpack. My wife and son were going to stay in the room with the two twin beds. When they started to move the cheap flimsy metal frame beds they basically fell down. It took me about an hour to get them to stay upright. i text the number to let them know of the issue and nobody got back to me.
On our last day, I called them to let them know of the beds and that nobody called me back after my text and all they said was thanks for reporting it and that they would look into it.
Overall not a bad little cabin but horrible beds!
This 900 sq ft cabin might be small in size but it is big on charm and comfort! The shiplap covered walls, wood beams, charming wood cabinets and stone shower add to the rustic cabin charm!
We enjoyed the small footprint of the cabin for our family of four. The kitchen was pretty well stocked. It needs a large bowls for popcorn. The coffee pot is too short for the maker so I had to hold it up to get the coffee to drip. The beds were comfortable and there were extra blankets and pillows available. The living room was comfortable. The couches could use a good cleaning (especially the loveseat). There is a fireplace although we didn’t use it. We did take advantage of the large dvd selection! There were so classics our kids had not seen. I cabin has a pretty large porch so you could bbq on it. Unfortunately a bbq is not available with the property. I was a disappointed to see that the damaged floorboard mentioned by some else had not been fixed, even though the protestors response said it had. So watch your step upon enter to the cabin!
Overall, with these few minor issues, this cabin still deserves five stars! Some of these add to the quirkiness to staying in a rental versus a hotel. We really enjoyed this cabin and would recommend it!
Thank you!
Loved the location, down the street from the lake, short walks to the hiking trail and village. The cottage was a cute mountain woodsy decor, small and quaint with all the utensils needed to cook your own meals. There were spiders that found my husbands hand and the couches need to be replaced. They do not have wifi or cable/satelite but lots of DVD's. Bring your own if you want to watch something specific. The owner encourages family time and outdoor activities, which I encourage. We stayed only 2 nights so that made it easy to be active. We would stay again for a short stay!
Let me start off by saying the property was ok and I'd stay there again for the price. It was right near the hustle & bustle where we prefer to stay. Its a cozy and quiet place. With that said, there were issues. The TV was stuck on the Netflix load screen and there was no way to get out of it. The ceiling fans also did not work. I called cool cabins (property mgmt.) who sent a maintenance worker to fix these issues. While we were waiting, my wife walked from the kitchen towards the living room and tripped over a loose wood floorboard and nearly smacked her head on the side table. When the repair man arrived we showed him the broken floorboard and he said he'd report it so they could fix it. He got the t.v. figured out after about 20 minutes. He wasn't able to figure out why the fans wouldn't turn on so we just dealt with the heat. I hadn't heard back from cool cabins so I called them about the floorboard. They were indifferent about it even after I told them my wife was nearly injured. What bothered me the most is that there was zero concern about her well being. They did not even ask if she was o.k. They just said no one else ever reported a broken floorboard. For those reasons, I'd never deal with cool cabins directly or through homeaway. The owners should reconsider their property managers.

The place was warm and cozy, the decor was very nice.
My experience was great, the place was very nice and cozy. The decor in the cabin was really nice. However I would have preferred WiFi and a dishwasher, other than that, it was great

Great cozy cabin and fireplace was amazing
The entire cabin is small but it was perfect for our family since it kept us together at all times. The kitchen and table are a good size and they had lots of dishes, pans, cups, mugs and seasoning available. They didn't have a toaster and when I called to ask they delivered one to me brand new. No cable or WiFi available (the only down side of this cabin) but it kept us entertained by having to watch movies the entire time we were there (lots of dvd's available and board games). My favorite part of this cabin was the amazing fireplace, love it and had it on the entire time we were there. Couches are a little worn out and TV is old (hopefully they get replaced soon) but that didn't change anything for me. Would definitely stay in this cabin again.
