The room was beautifully designed and very comfortable. The hotel is clean and staff was kind and attentive. The room had a bathtub which was perfect after hiking in the prior days. Breakfast was clean and delicious. Great stay and recommended.

The staff at this traditional hotel are very helpful, and the breakfast is delicious. It is also very close to Durbar Square. Therefore, if you are on a budget, I highly recommend staying at this hotel. You can have lunch and dinner at a restaurant nearby on the left side of the hotel, making it very convenient. In the early morning, you can enjoy the sunrise and the snow-capped mountains from the rooftop terrace. I strongly recommend it.

Don't forget there is a 1800 rupees fee to enter the square and you need your passport but you can get a pass the last as long as your visa. If staying over 5 days you need a passport size photo for you pass card. The hotel is clean and tidy. The breakfast is great, the views from the roof are great if the weather is clear Sit on the roof with your early morning coffee and watch the square come to life, when the locals use it for worship. Nothing is too much trouble for the hotel staff if you need anything from them just ask, clean towels, extra toiletries or a taxi.

Excellent stay again. At historic Durbar site. For me the option: no traffic around, breakfast served on sunny rooftop, most friendly and helpfull staff and excellent capuchino.

Hotel Tratitional is een goed en gezellig hotel. Hotel met buiten authentieke sfeer, prachtig Neoalees houtsnij werken. Mooie kamers en het personeel doet er alles aan om het naar je zin te maken. Lekker en goed ontbijt en bestel ook de Masela tee! Met dank aan Rajesh en andere collega’s. Super locatie, met op de dak uitzicht op het mooie plein. Lekkere restaurants in de omgeving Watshalla met prachtige tuin, en Lotus met een dak terras.

À mon arrivée, je n'ai pas pu avoir la chambre que j'avais réservé, du coup l'hôtel m'a recasé dans un autre hôtel, avec une chambre tout à fait médiocre et inférieure à ce que j'avais réservé et payé, et que j'ai été obligé d'accepter. Il n'est pas normal que l'hôtel n'ai pas prévenu ni moi ni Expedia, et qu'ils n'aient pas pu me proposer une chambre de même standing.
