"The hotel is very well maintained and located close to the main market. However, it is adjacent to a half finished property with a stay order and a little difficult to find since it is behind another hotel. That being said the views from the 5th floor rooms that we booked-509 and 510 were worth a million bucks. Their breakfast is delicious and varied with hot and cold items and Indian and continental fare. Would recommend this place."

"The staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant is really good and conveniently located. The location is ideal. An d there is a yoga school on site with daily classes. The spa is also on site and offers outstanding massages. It should be noted, however, that there is some construction happening on site and there are some guests that keep very late hours and can create a disturbance for those sleeping. Overall an excellent experience and I will return."

"Terrible facilities. NO HOT WATER FOR FIVE OF SEVEN DAYS I NEED AS THERE. staff nice but hotel owners/operators don’t care. First booking I couldn’t make trip and notified slightly less than 72 hour prior and they charged me for a full seven night stay. There’s lots of other places to stay nearby, I am sure with hot water and better service. Their call center shouted and hung up on me once I mentioned “review”. "

"It's called the "Crown" for a reason, and it's because it's at the very top of the canyon, and a very steep and narrow road to and from Mcleod Ganj, or anything, really. Have a car, be prepared to hire cabs, or just stay at the hotel and enjoy the views. Which, to be fair, are very nice. Out of 7 hotels in 7 cities in India in terms of service, the Luxe easily ranked last.
