"Had an amazing stay here. Quirky room with everything you could need, big comfy bed, and fab shower. Really good meal in the pub and cocktails available. Staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Pub itself is a delight. Really cosy with art all over the walls, a lot of effort has gone into design of both the pub, rooms and outdoor space. There is a really big garden area which was a joy to sit in. Honestly can't recommend it enough. Close to Scotney Castle and Bewl Water which are both well worth a visit."

"A quiet, peaceful property in beautiful surroundings. Our host was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. There is ample parking on site and the cottage was very well equipped throughout. The only slight negative was in the bathroom where the shower mat and adapted seat were rather dirty. We enjoyed eating in the conservatory and overall, we had a very enjoyable short break. "

"Finchcocks was the perfect house for our stay...we were celebrating an 80th birthday with 18 family members and needed 7 doubles and 2 twins. All of the bedrooms were en suite and we had loads of space and facilities. It was a wet weekend but managed to play tennis during a short dry spell, as well as lots of indoor table tennis! The house was spotless, the kitchen full of everything you could think of (with multiple fridges and cookers) and John was very helpful explaining how everything worked. Could have asked for a better weekend"

"Lovely cottage, cute, clean and comfortable. Convenient for our stay at a wedding in nearby village. Shame outside lights weren’t working to enjoy and sit in the garden at night. Although it won’t bother most, the cottage is situated on a fork road with cars flying by at very fast speeds, noisy and dangerous. Overall we had a good stay."

"This accommodation changed management and only does phone reservations. It is unable to access and honour previous bookings from this site. So when booking on this site you won’t be booking a place to stay. Luckily they had one room left for us. But there are little other accommodation options in the area, so be careful. "

"Well equipped comfortable accommodation.lovely rural setting quite quiet although on working farm. Friendly helpful host lovely apple juice fresh from farm .Short drive to local town convenient location for exploring the area.only minor issue Double bed was fair but springs in mattress beginning to sag more toilet paper and kitchen roll would be helpful. WeWould recommend this barn accommodation and would visit again."
