"We have stayed here before and as last time, it was perfect. Charles is a wonderful host and when we turned up late on a Sunday evening with few local dining opportunities, he created a delicious platter of cheeses and meats for us, including an aged Brillat-Savarin that was just divine. He helped us get away for the channel crossing on time by accommodating us a bit early for breakfast. The room (Reims) was very comfortable, with a shower and bath. Highly recommended."

We’ve tried all room types over 20 years at Val Moret but this is our favourite so far (already booked for next 3 visits). Reception lady was very helpful and attentive. This is a really good travelling stopover choice. The restaurant is consistently very good. Menu choices are seasonally varied and of a high standard. Presentation is excellent, flavours well balanced and varied. Desserts are always amazing. The waiting staff are professional and attentive. This restaurant punches well above its weight. Always have Champagne with your meal. "
