Wow, what a find this was. Superb accommodation in every way. Quality, cleanliness, service, breakfast. Highly recommended. Could not fault it in any way.

Checking in was a breeze. Stairs to rooms were wide and not too steep so getting luggage to room was ok. Room was fantastic, large and airy with the biggest bed I have ever seen. There was no shower in the bathroom but the large claw bath is very comfortable and great to relax in after a long drive. Stepping in and out might be difficult for elderly. No aircon but it is a B&B so should not be expected. The host was fantastic and he cooks a mean breakfast. A short drive outside of Berwick upon Tweed but this is not a real disadvantage as most of the things you want to see are within easy reach. Overall, a great place to stay.

Wonderful friendly host and accommodation. Robert, the owner greeted us with coffee and home-made cake. The Manor House has been lavishly decorated by Robert with opulent furnishings. Our room had a huge comfortable bed and in the big bathroom I made use of the luxurious deep roll top bath. There was a great choice of breakfasts made with good quality food, we had delicious pork and apple sausages and creamy scrambled eggs! All served with different types of home-made bread and scones on a table laid with linen cover and napkins, silver cutlery and china plates. Generous and unique sums up this house and Robert. My husband and I only stayed two nights before returning to our Scottish home and I hope we can stay longer the next time.

The location and accommodation was excellent with plenty of parking space. Good choice of breakfast which was well presented and delicious. Our host Robert was friendly, helpful and informative. All of which contributed to an excellent stay which we both fully enjoyed.

This was - a just what we needed short weekend break. Robert the owner and host is fabulously unique just like his home. Robert is extremely personable, hardworking, thoughtful and makes a great breakfast. Everywhere was absolutely immaculate extremely high standards throughout. It is a peaceful luxury getaway in every sense of the word. Would not hesitate to return or recommend

The house is exceptional, beautifully decorated and clean. The room was very elegant and very comfortable. Robert the owner is very friendly and his breakfasts were delicious. All in all we had a very enjoyable stay.

Absolutely loved this b&b , the owner Robert was exceptional, he never stops,he does everything himself ,from doing the washing and ironing, cutting the lawns and cooking and baking and that was just what we were aware of . Our bedroom was something out of this world , everywhere was exceptionally clean . Highly recommended. Cant wait to go back.

Robert (our host) keeps the Manor house in immaculate condition. He's friendly and hospitable. He made a tasty breakdfast each morning for us. We had a room with views of the drive, and they were still amazing. The Manor House is set in some of the prettiest fields I've seen, and just a couple of miles from the River Tweed (English/Scottish border)

A Bed & Breakfast with a 5 star rating.
A really enjoyable stay. Personal service outstanding. The contents of the house are of an extremely high standard. The bedrooms were really comfortable and the decorations were exceptional. Position of the manor was only 10 minutes drive from Berwick. Local taxi service was available for an evening out in Berwick. If you are looking for an relaxing stay and giving you the feeling of luxury then this is the place to stay. Highly recommended
