"Lovely hotel with gorgeous decor and comfortable bar areas. Dining options good for dinner and breakfast options are plentiful. The spa whilst quite small and not all facilities available was peaceful and lovely to relax in. Our room in castle was quite cosy and not a lot of space but had everything you need inc. Coffee machine, fridge and robes. A friend room had a frosted window as faced a wall so not great for the price. Another friend had booked a courtyard room and this was far more spacious and had a chaise long and chair in the room. We had a fabulous stay and would highly recommend as all the staff were super lovely and helpful."

"The Bamburgh Inn was in an ideal location for exploring the North east coast of England. The family room we stayed in was spacious and clean and comfortable with a large bathroom. All in all a great nights stay."

"Nice clean room and very comfy bed. Had a skylight rather than a window so no view but great black-out blind. Shame about the miniature sink though, bad design! Nice to have a continental brekkie included. Very convenient for the station and town. Do try Coulls fish'n'chips, delicious, thanks for recommendation."

"A lovely stay at this hotel. Highlights were the staff and the breakfast service (charming and old school). The room was decent, though parts of the hotel looks slightly worn (the stairwells), but nothing a lick of paint would not fix; would stay again. The grounds looked impressive."

"Robert was an excellent host, very helpful and kind. Breakfast all cooked to order, fresh and homemade. The house and bedroom was luxurious with everything you could ever need. Views are spectacular - 360 degree. Berwick-Upon-Tweed 10 min car journey."

"We both loved the location. The property was clean and well equipped for our stay. Lovely spacious rooms. We would use again. There was a damp smell in the property, and a sewerage smell when the back door was open into the kitchen!!. We still had a great stay within the grounds of the estate. And I'm sure Liz the host will look into anything I've mentioned, to improve it for her next guests"
YHA Berwick - Hostel

"Usual YHA setup but in interesting and peaceful location on a private courtyard, nice and quiet even in the heart of Berwick. Breakfast made to order and very good, includes coffee or you can have one made on an espresso machine for an up charge. Private rooms available with en-suite was a good balance of value for money and privacy"
