Beautiful Berta's Cottage in Berry
We and our dog, Sandy, enjoyed our stay very much. The cottage was situated in a lovely rural area overlooking dairy farmland. We enjoyed the tranquillity, garden areas and surrounding places to visit. We look forward to staying again.

Beautiful cottage
The cottage is set in beautiful grounds and very comfortable. The kitchen, especially, was very well stocked. It is also nicely located, very close to Berry but also on the road to Gerringong which we loved too. Thanks for the dining recommendations - we used them for both lunch and dinner! Thanks for such a lovely stay.

Country Cottage
A great little cottage to relax and unwind in. We particularly loved the front verandah with its wonderful view, and the close proximity to Berry was very handy.

Great place to stay
We have been coming to Bertas with the family at least annually for about 11 years. It never disappoints. The house is comfortable and well equiped. The BBQ is a special attraction for us. There's lots of space for children and dog to play. Cows, goats, alpacas to be seen. It's relaxing, peaceful, beautiful and only minutes away from lovely Berry and Seven Mile Beach.

Absolutely loved it!
We go away quite frequently. This was by far our most enjoyable trip to date.. Gorgeous cottage in a stunning setting. So peaceful and quiet. The cottage was equipped with everything we could ask for. We had 2 friends drop in and spent 2 days with us. Comfy beds, free wifi, Netflix and Prime available. Berry was a 5 min drive and we shopped till we dropped and stuffed ourselves with Devonshire teas. Our dog thoroughly enjoyed herself in the safe fenced off yard - she had a great time exploring. The pre-booking process was seamless and our host Rosemary was so kind and friendly. We will definitely be returning to this wonderful property 🙌 Thank you Rosemary 🙏

Bliss...
This is the type of place where you can really unwind. Beautiful country setting but close to beach and Berry. The house is immaculate and very cosy, and had all the little touches that make a stay special - bottle of wine & cheese in the fridge, bikes & hammock. We loved this place and will be back.

Birthday break
We just had a 3 night stay. Loved sitting on the verhanda looking at the view, sitting in the bath with the window open, log fires and delicious food in Berry. A perfect break.

What a lovely spot.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Berta’s cottage. So lovely to find a great place to not only accommodate us but also our dog. With all the creature comforts. Rosemary has thought of everything to make the stay welcoming and comfortable. The wood fire was perfection. We look forward to visiting again.

Already planning our next visit to Berta’s Cottage
This was our third visit to Rosemary's beautiful house. As soon as we stepped out of the car and took in the view from the deck we felt instantly relaxed. The house is set on a lovely country road. Cows mooing and lovely goats as neighbours. All only 5 minutes from Berry town centre. We can't wait to come back again soon.

Great pet friendly stay
We had a wonderful & relaxing time, our dogs absolutely loved the fenced garden. It is so good to be in the heart of the country but only 15 mins from the beach too. Would definitely book again. The added touch of a local wine, cheese & crackers was lovely. If (hopefully when) we return I would bring our dog fence/pen as whilst the back is fully fenced, the bbq deck area is at the side of the house open to the front and also the front deck which the bedroom doors open onto has two sets of steps down to the front yard, when out here we had to watch to make sure the dogs didn’t go straight out the drive onto the road as there is no gate. The one thing that did happen was that the gardener turned up around 5pm on the first night to mow, we had no notice and in fact just 10 mins earlier I’d been in the bathroom where the picture window would have given them a view of me in the shower rather than me seeing the country!!

Fantastic!
Our experience was wonderful! The location was amazing and the house was well equipped. We were surrounded by beautiful views as well as neighbouring farm animals which was lovely. My family and I enjoyed our stay as well as our two dogs who loved running around in the backyard that was fenced off and secure.

Lovely Weekend
Berta's Cottage was located in a quiet spot with a peaceful location and pretty outlook, yet a short 5 min drive into town. We paid to allow the dog to stay and it was perfect for him too. Very much appreciated treats left for us: jam, milk, wine, cheese and crackers. Thank you Rosemary you were a lovely host to deal with. One tiny suggestion a bath mat inside the bath tub for using the shower would make you feel a little more secure and less afraid of slipping. Thank you for sharing your property with us.

Relaxing setting for a summer break
We enjoyed a 5 night stay at this comfortable, cosy and well-equipped holiday home. Evenings on the front deck looking out across farmland to the hills around Berry as the sun set were a highlight. It is a short and easy drive to either Gerroa and Gerringong and the coast, or into Berry township. We appreciated being able to bring our dog, however the fencing wasn’t adequate to contain a curious medium sized cattle dog cross. If you’re bringing a small dog, the backyard may be better suited.

Adequate and nice but issues with bathroom and not perfectly clean
Overall, really good stay and nice inclusions like milk and muesli. However, it wasn't perfectly clean and the drainage in the bathroom is defective such that water goes everywhere when you shower.

Blissed out in Berry
Comfortable, thoughtful, well-equipped and such a peaceful neighbourhood. Could not have asked for a cosier stay in Berry! A very short drive to the heart of town or a decent walk if you’re feeling energetic. Surrounded by greenery and cute animals- absolutely wonderful. Plus incredibly thoughtful touches with the coffee machine, welcome nibbles, bath products and candles.

Recently spent 2 nights at Berta’s Cottage with a couple of girlfriends wanting a relaxing break. From the moment we drove into the driveway we knew we had booked the perfect property. The outlook from the front veranda is beautiful. The house itself was very clean, beds were very comfortable. Kitchen well equiped. The house is a short drive to Berry if you want to do a bit of shopping. We are already planning another stay.

Comfy Country Cottage
Berta's is a charming rural cottage which worked well for us and our two small dogs. It is well equipped and furnished - complimentary local wine, cheese and milk were very much enjoyed and the sunny front deck is perfect for lunch.

Great place for dog owners
We have stayed at a few dog friendly places but very few are also acceptable for human habitation as well! This little cottage just outside Berry is not bad at all. Wooden floors and decent heating as well as decent outside area for dogs.

Peaceful cottage

wonderful private escape.
perfect cottage with everything you could ask for and more. nothing left out. even down to the milk in the fridge on arrival which is something i always forget. extremely clean and very well thought out. 10 out of 10. would definately come back.

Location is the best of both worlds.

The Beautiful Bertha's Cottage
This gorgeous cottage was beyond our expectations. The location was excellent, secluded, very peaceful and close to the Berry village and the beach. The cottage was cozy and comfortable with everything that we needed and I loved the decor. The gardens were beautiful and relaxing. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely stay again. Tranquil and refreshing country getaway
Rosemary provides a cute and spacious cottage just outside the lovely town of Berry. Close to the town itself and 7 mile beach, the cottage is an ideal location for those that like to explore and enjoy the outdoors. You can tell a lot of care and thought has gone into both the interior and exterior of the place with everything neat and tidy, available for use. Highly recommend this lovely place, do suggest to bring Telstra coverage if you need high speed internet connection.

Beautiful semi-rural home
We had a midweek break here, two weeknights. The property is close to Berry, ample parking and space, a nice fireplace for winter, and a lot of living space in the house. Well equipped kitchen, too. A nice quiet area.
