"Pros: De host en haar familie zijn heel vriendelijke mensen. We kregen bij aankomst ook een zelfgemaakt cadeautje. Het huisje was helemaal in orde, het heeft een ruim terras en is perfect voor als je met twee op reis gaat. Ook de ligging was super, helemaal aan het einde van de straat, naast het riviertje. De ligging van het huisje is ook perfect voor mensen die graag wandelen. Je kan meteen de straat verder omhoog en je kan dan zo stukjes van de Hochtalsteig bewandelen. Heel mooie...

"Die Ferienwohnung liegt in perfekter Lage in Bernau: einem wunderschönen Ort etwas abseits vom großen Trubel. Der Höhenwanderweg vor der Haustür ist Klasse - die Krunkelbachhütte ein Geheimtipp.In der Fewo haben wir den großen Balkon / Terasse geschätzt auf dem man die Abendsonne genießen kann. Dazu gemütlich eingerichtet haben wir unser verlängertes Wochenende wirklich genossen.Danke auch an die nette Gastgeberin!"

"The hotel was in a great location. Quiet area, as behind an office building. Easy to get everywhere by foot. Withing walking distance of the train station. Public transportation in the area was excellent and easy to get to from the hotel. We had one bus that we would take right in front of the hotel. Room and bathroom were very clean, and the bed comfortable. No negatives on our behalf. Would stay there again in a heart beat. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. This is the 2nd Premier Inn we have stayed at and would recommend it. "

"The over riding disappointment was the fact that the attractive hotel and courtyard photo on the Hotels.com home page is simply NOT the hotel. In reality, the hotel is in a back street, cramped on all sides. We found it very difficult to find, through the maze of one-way and trams-only streets. In fairness, once in to the hotel, it wasn’t too bad. No kettle in rooms though. Breakfast ok. Reception claimed to have tried to alter the photo on website several times but with no lasting effect. But we would never have booked this type of hotel had we known. We were unable to contact Hotels.com by live chat before check-in, as the 5G signal wasn’t strong enough, and couldn’t use hotel WiFi without first checking in. Touché. Attached photo shows the real building first, and then the alleged building."

"The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was excellent for walking the old town, plenty of close restaurants and a grocery store. It is a central location for hiking in the area. There was air conditioning and a safe which we appreciated. Overall, our stay was ok but the rooms are smaller than we expected and the carpeting was quite dated and needs replacement."

"The sink was plugged and wouldn't drain. Because it was a self-serve hotel we couldn't get the issue resolved before our one-night stay was over. It wasn't obvious from the Expedia listing that this was a self serve/ self check-in, budget hotel that would be so cramped.
